Probably something that is really good, a lot of the time micro tricks but can just be a really neat strategy executed well or a big comeback using some great terrain tricks, stuff that's innovative and unique or really hard to execute.

Clarified the main post. Added that players must be in the APL channel before the bracket starts to confirm participation (aka "check-in"). This was emailed to all who registered but putting in the main post in response to valid critcism.
AFAIK, all people who initially missed the bracket were put into it and all worked out. May 6th all players will be seeded into the bracket and walk overs will just happen.
To provide transparency: I hate walkovers, players spend a lot of time waiting for players that might not come (11:59am is a very accessible time) and the bracket as a whole gets slowed down dramatically, also sometimes players receive direct seeds into the ro16 in a 64 player tournament because of walk overs. Hence why I used the channel as check-in. This was not communicated too well but I'm pretty sure all players who were online were put into the bracket anyway.
Thanks to Chadmann for notifying me and helping me fix these issues
My opponent was a Masters Zerg. In the first game on Daybreak my overlord scouted his banelings, so I used my 2 queens to wall my ramp. I lost my expansion, but my lings did a runby that killed both his queens and all the drones at his main, forcing the GG.
2nd map was Metropolis, I went for the same build, but this time I accidentally researched speed late. This cost me, as it made me lose one of my queens, and this set me back so far that I was unable to catch up, and my roach-ling all-in was easily held while he took a third. I knew there was no coming back from this, so I GG'd out.
3rd map was Antiga, same build from both of us again, but unfortunately I mismicroed a bit and lost just a few more zerglings to his banelings than I could afford. I went for a roach ling attack, but one of the three banes mixed into his army caught me off guard, I had no idea it was there, and thus I lost about 20 zerglings to one bane, and without zergling support, the fact that he had a few more roaches than me and a spine was enough to give him the edge in the battle, forcing me to GG.
Pretty disappointed, since I made silly mistakes in games 2 and 3 that cost me the game. I would have been 2-0ed by Pinder in the next round anyway, but I would rather (A) not lose in the first round and (B) lost to at least a GM level player.

Viewing Systems stream, I saw the chat on his stream, so I opened the chat. However, the chat that opened is different to the one that's on his stream.
