As you guys have noticed we now have a monthly finals every month, showcasing the current very best players in SEA, with all the CO & KOF winners over the month battling it out over a single day for their share in a total prize pool of $220.
I planned to do the matchups such that Week1 Winner vs Week2 Winner. In the event that the players are in the same team, i will switch it up to avoid team kills. So like for this week jazbas and light dont end up playing each other in the semifinals. I believe since we have control instead of some unflinching bureaucratic organisation, we should try our best to be flexible to provide the best event for everyone.
The same goes for the CO and KOF timing. We will be flexible to meet the majority of the players schedule. This week Roz cant play late at night and Jaz cant play early so this time the KOF will start first followed by the CO. However i will change the order depending on players availability every month. If you cant make a timing and you qualified its your responsibility to let me know early.
Lastly i have kinda neglected the tournament fund donation aspect, have not promoted it and now we have almost nothing left in the community tournament fund. Next month i would either hope to best case scenario: find a sponsor for the monthly finals or have some decent donations but lower the prizes, or worse case scenario have no prizes and people play for glory and there won't be any monthly finals cause theres no point as we need > $100 to be listed on TL. Any help to hook me sc2sea up with a sponsor will be much appreciated. Lastly, theres a record of all the donations so as an added incentive to those who have helped the community, I'm giving free access to "The Grandmaster Manual" to any donator with total lifetime contributions over >$40.
We hope to turn this into a regular monthly event the community can look forward to and we need your help!
Even the smallest donations help keep sc2sea running! All donations go towards helping our site run including our monthly server hosting fees and sc2sea sponsored community tournaments we host. Find out more here.
