I was playing random exclusively for the last 2-3 weeks of Beta. Reason for this was i missed the better part of the previous 4 months, and wanted to dive right in and try all the new units/changes. Ladder results be damned, i just wanted to have some fun. And you know what, LOTV is super fun!! (And quicker games)
I really enjoyed playing every race. Terran the most, then P, and Z last (mostly due to ZvZ). Although my Mecahnics are far higher as P, I am considering giving Random or Terran a good go (Previously Protoss).
Anyone else seriously thinking of switching race in LOTV? Or putting time into another race?
I put a lot of time into offracing in lotv, it was so much fun with the new mechanics.
It's easier to learn builds with the 12 worker start and missing larva injects is much more forgiving.
Even considered switching my race in tournaments when the game was more imbalanced but I don't think it's worth the required effort now.
I also played a bit of random, but I have always played a ton of offraces, if I was to switch races it would be to Terran, I did give it some consideration but I think I am almost definitely gonna stick with zerg
Not mentioning any names but someone done screwed with the perfect academy race balance that took me forever to get

Towards the end of the beta i made the choice that i was going to switch back to Terran after being p for roughly 2 years, but im thinking it might also be cool to give zerg a real go, but ive never been able to get my head around the mechanics (like how to you quickly switch between hatches without using camera hotkeys?).
Terran it is
