Has provided lots of entertainment to the community, usually at the expense of someone else. Awarded to characters who have spiced up the scene without crossing into the realm of douchery.
Courteous to everyone and helpful to those in need, the manner man is a good role model and the epitome of pure manner, a rarity in todays idra infested world.
Awarded SC2SEA's Quality Member of the month! We love you how much you have contributed to our community and just want to let you know we appreciate it.
Awarded to ordinary everyday members who in a singular instance ended up doing something extraordinary.
If you think someone should be nominated for the above, please comment below!
My nominations,
MetalCore for the Movie Star with his regular casts of SEACraft etc
SoundWave for Letters to Cleo with the weekly SEA wrap up.
Crescendo for Letters to Cleo with his regular interview series (which I've quite enjoyed!)
etc etc... there are heaps of new and long standing members of our community that I feel should be recognised for some of the above awards.
I'd say the MODs will take all the nominations into discussion and decided on some awards!
if you have any suggestions for other types of awards, write them up with who you thinks deserves them (please be reasonable tho) and we can consider them too, I guess. ^_^
Random nominations from myself, in no particular order, and likely to be added to when I have a chance to put more thought into it
- [Community Builder] -
I'll second Erasmus's picks and add Nemesis and Rezyn8 (SLCN's Mr Barcraft) as well.
- [Movie Star] -
Maynarde, Zepph, Metalcore, Pox
- [The Gatekeeper] -
Elusory, Nemesis, Philosopher, Baldie
- [Cruel Entertainer] -
Slayer (I will take your popcorn and make you cry one day, I swear it )
- [Letters to Cleo] -
Soundwave
- [The Manner Man] -
Nemesis, Eddie
- [There is no fate but what we make for ourselves] -
Eddie, Namakaye (the unsung hero of TL edits and sundry tournament assists)
- [Hero of the Day] -
Although you didn't mention it in this list, the award ' SEA Representative' definitely needs to be updated with Petraeus and NXZ who have made WCS Premier this season.

I'm not plat because I actually play the game unlike 90% of the retards that just sit on sc2sea spout out bullshit all day.
Edit: How exactly is this a contradiction chad?

How the **** can you be a "cruel entertainer" and not be a prick?
People like Pinder, tgun, etc they are good at taking the piss but never offensive. Dry humour with a twist of wit and grumpiness.. Almost like Philosopher, but not as blunt >.<

Oh wow someone mentioned me O.o
As for my opinion, I agree with everything said in this thread (except the Fullmetal bullshit). I definately hope we can start making awarding these a more regular thing cause rewarding upstanding members is something that was lacking for a while (until the new wave of mods/MVP).

Why not make an award to recognise winning mutliple tournaments in succession. I'm thinking of Demilove as the example here when he won three in a row. Make it the hat trick award . I reckon that's a cool one that deserves a reward for it.
