How does it work?
All interested players for weekend #2 will nominate themselves in this thread by 16 September (Tuesday).
If you wish to nominate another, please ensure that the person you nominate acknowledges it in the thread to confirm that he/she is able to play.
You are encouraged to do a brief writeup on yourself to 'promote' yourself or at least let the community know who you are/from etc. This will be useful for those who are relatively new to the community.
The public gets to vote who they want to see facing off in weekend #2 on the17th September.
The voting will end 24th September.
The top 3 most voted will then have the opportunity to play.
The most voted player will be A, 2nd most voted B and 3rd most voted C.
A will battle it out with B in a BO5.
The winner will then have to battle C in another BO5.
What is the format?
The most voted player will be A, 2nd most voted B and 3rd most voted C.
A will battle it out with B in a BO5.
The winner will then have to battle C in another BO5.
What are the stakes?
Honour, Glory, Fame!
OSC Points
Winner of each set will be awarded 15 OSC points; Loser will be awarded 5 OSC points. A total of 20 OSC points per BO5 set!
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 16: 5 OSC points
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 17-32 ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
Anyone ranked 16th - 9th beats anyone ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
1st - 8th have no chance to earn bonus points
Prize pool
The King who beats his opponent in both sets of BO5 will walk away with $10 (AUD).
What if the winner (A or B) of the first set loses to player C?
He does not get to cash out for that weekend i.e. no cash prize will be paid out.
BUT the money will be snowballed into the 3rd weekend set. i.e. $20 for the last weekend of this series for this cycle.
Player C will have the option to be Player A in the next round. And only the top 2 voted for the next round will enter the next arena as Player B and C respectively.
Other points to note?
The overall winner [after receiving the cash payout] of each weekend will be respectfully asked to skip the next round to allow for others to have more opportunities to participate in this.
There will be 3 rounds/sets (one every 2-3 weekends).
If anyone in the top 3 most voted should be unable to play due to last minute commitments, the opportunity will be given to the next most voted etc.

I played last time so I don't think'd be fair to play twice in a row
You can; depends on the public votes though
Only winners skip a session as they would had won more points and the prize money. So if you get voted again, consider this another chance

Please do keep to just 2 votes per member. The polling system doesnt give a cap per member but please respect the voting system anyway

Masters Cup is on Sunday, so changing the date to Saturday same time instead. However if the 3 players involve would rather the following Sunday, that is still an open option. For now, I'll put it as Saturday.

1st set : eCKo'Satu 1 - 0 SLCN.Kez
~I believe Kez forfeited the remaining games because he had to go away
2nd set : eCKo'Satu 3 - 0 VoxMSI.MightyKiwi
Only OSC points can be awarded for the 2nd set but Satu gets to walk away with this weekend's cash out.
Look out for the 3rd and final weekend of KotHotS; thread will be out soon. We want to see more good games!!
