Earlygame ZvZ is basically a knifefight with suicide bombers.
I'm not much of a hardcore guy. But these guys go almost everywhere and it impresses me. Hats off to you between the buried and me.. you ******* rock it.

As i said, not much of a fan. But it's so similar I can't actually give a good reason. I'm an elitist douchebag?
Nah, for some reason modern bands tend to like the word core and attach it to everything Deathcore etc. It's just ******* death metal you pricks. Albeit emotions and girls fashion included
But protest the hero's scurrilous is such a sick album - something I haven't heard. There vocalist is just awesome and combining prog and funk with some weird mesh of jazz / punk makes just a ******* amazing sound.
bada da da's in Tapestry get me everytime.. love that shit!
I'm the elitist, as I know there is a difference between Death Metal and Deathcore. I used to be like you, and grouping everything with "screaming" (Growling) as Death Metal. But generally "Death metal" made in the last 10 years falls into a subgenre.
Compare these two songs, and see if you can tell the difference.
Listen to the vocals. Lamb of God uses only growling (excluding the introduction), in a low tone, and he's not exactly yelling out out. Emmure floats between growls, screams and regular signing.
Then if you listen really carefully you can hear a difference in the guitars. Emmure has theirs tuned to drop D, while Lamb of God has their tuned to drop C, creating a lower and heavier sound.
