Ok, sounds great, but could you include the NZ time in it up top? Us kiwis will tune in for sure.
Is this also a good place to plug upcoming events and eSports stuff happening? I know of a couple of really worth causes that would love the exposure. One which I am personalyl involved in.
As for the 1st show and only being planned for 1 hour we don't have enough time to talk about everything that has happened recently, then work on the up and coming stuff as well.
I was thinking of putting in the NZ Cup as a point of discussion but unfortunately running on time constraints I had to remove it
Also updated the OP with NZ time and threw up a TL thread - So go support us on TL to get more exposure ^_^
I think it was a great show, learned a lot and loved the format of the whole first episode! One thing I'd want to suggest is having more seAsians in this? This is just my thought because all of the people there tonight were Australians, and would just like to see maybe some views of people outside of Australia in the future! But I really liked it tonight, would love to see more!
I'm going to try and make stuff I say less long-winded and more to the point! Feel like I hogged the air-time a bit much tonight without saying anything of greater value then the other guys >.<
I still don't have any idea on how to set up a podcast thing with iTunes to have a MP3 readily available for you guys, so unfortunately there will be only Video VOD until I can figure this out.
On the note of that, if anyone is able to help me out with this, then shoot me a PM and I will be thankful
At best if people really want an MP3 I can just strip the audio from the Video file and upload that somewhere
This show went VERY smoothly, not gonna lie I expected it to have a lot of issues with awkward silences and random technical issues. Was a really good show, can't wait for future eps
Also I think you're over thinking it PiG, I didn't feel like your answers were long winded at all.
That was a very good show.
Could only watch the VOD unfortunately it was too early for me to watch it live.
It's nice to see a show dedicated to SEA scene
I think that Pinder have a mic issue i couldn't hear him properly.

You did all good man especially with the formality of the show (YOU WORE A SHIRT MAN!)
Great show, the first episode really got me hooked into it this series really looking forward to seeing the next upcoming episodes. Good work
Pinder needs a new mic or something, and his camera was really laggy. But an awesome addition to the pack. That light on him looked like it was coming straight from heaven.
Maynarde totally stole the show with his mega ultra alpha masculinity. Was so steamy watching I had to wipe the condensation off my monitor.
Dox needs to stare into the camera more and just bat those pretty eyes. So pretty.
System did an awesome job with the set-up and everything. Also with managing what was being discussed. Top notch!
PiG, need I say more? Rambled a bit yeah but whatevs, he's the PiG, he can ramble all he wants. People will always listen.
All in all, looking forward to the next installment! Providing it has nudity though. Seriously.
To Maynarde, not sure if this was answered, but the reason why Daybreak has a half-spansion in the centre area is because when you move troops through any of the 3 main routes of Daybreak you end up by that base. It's extremely simple to lock that down with a pfort and a tank or two, whereas trying to defend the regular 3rd and your natural is a lot more difficult, there are two very different routes to attack it and no watch tower to give you all the vision.
If the centre expansion was a full expansion then it would be a no brainer which expansion you take.
And the reason why I have good posture at LAN's is so once you guys get old and hunchbacked from your improper seating techniques I will get to feel tall.
It's either that or invest in larger shoes.

yeah thats exactly right, audio only would be great. its pretty simple to do i believe and itunes should pick it up automatically every time you upload one, then subscribers can auto download each ep.
id be so keen for this.

Audio it is then, I shall get on it, the 1st episode will be a audio rip from youtube vid though so may not be the best quality, and I shall get an audio recording program for this weeks show
I will tell you where to sub and all that when it is available
Update guys, I have a working iTunes subscribe thingy up and running now, was a pain as iTunes is annoying as hell, but it is now done!

Show will be changed to tomorrow night (Thursday 19th) because of the conflict with the ACL Show that is on tonight at the exact same time T_T
Also, our guest will be Targa! Cya guys then, again sorry for the late notice and all that, VODs and AODs (Audio on Demand ) Will of course be available so don't fret if you can't make it this thurs!
Tonight's show will be cancelled and postponed to a future date and time. Will update you guys when that is.
We have all decided on this because a lot of people, including the hosts really want to catch Naniwa's games, so figured we should stand aside for one night!
Don't you worry because we won't go anywhere and we will still have Moonglade for the next show ^_^
Open up thread hoping to catch VOD of this week
Realise show wasn't on tonight, decide to watch VOD of last week (missed the start)
So surprised at the predictions that people gave.. Honestly these predictions are insanely accurate..

- Unfortunately Pinder has retired from gaming for good, and as a result has left the show.
- Iaguz will be taking Pinder's place in the show as a regular guest
- I wanted to get Tgun on this week but he has RL commitments, will look to get him in future shows for discussion on his current SC2 career and possible Korea training.
- Show is on Wednesday this week 7pm. Don't forget we only changed once!
Would be epic to see a podcast this week to see the results/matches discussed from the weekend past, and the groups/analysis of how pig/glade will go at IEM
I've always followed the GSL scene and after WCS i'm very interested in the SEA scene.
I've watched your podcasts since they started to try and get it, but after that event in sydney....
i get it now.
next time you guys have an event in brisbane, i'll be there to do what ever i can, for free to help.
and trust me, i'm not going to be a shit volunteer.
i'd like to provide a bit of constructive critcism and say that you really need to take charge of the direction conversations go and involve everyone. Especially with the fact iaguz and tgun talking every moment they can we didnt really get to hear the opinion of light and dox that often or they felt like they had to speak up just to be heard.
alsoooo @ bodzilla that is awesome and its great there is content like this to involve more peeps that are new to the scene.

Yea I have noticed the same thing, so many people like the banter those two can go at it so most of the time I just sit back and let it go, many times forgetting that the others guys have not said anything on the topic.
I'll be trying to go back the they style we have had in the past where it's more directed discussion!
Cheers Rossi, always value your input

Thanks man, it's really great to hear something like this! I hope you stick around and we get to know you
I agree to what Rossi has said completely, but I feel like tgun and iaguz banter sounds like Incontrol being funny and the rest of SoTG not talking. It'd be good for you to just ask like JP does when the banter is done on each topic something like "Hey Dox so you haven't spoken much on this topic, so what did you feel about this event/etc?" idk.
tbh it wasn't me being shy, was me feeling annoyed that I didn't get much chances to speak, and when I did I was too annoyed to bother. I watched soTG and generally the host guy gives everyone a chance to speak, so I was annoyed at just the back and forth useless banter between tgun and iaguz and noone doing anything about it, and me (THE GUEST) had to say sumfing abt it?
All good man, I won't get you on tonight, as for the issues you raised, I want to have the usual guys here and see if we can keep a sense of flow and communication across for the episode.
Got a question though.
You guys mentioned we dont have enough hands on deck right now as a community to keep up with the demand. What are the biggest issues that need people to solve them, and who would you talk to.

I love listening in and the shows a great idea but it definitely needs some more structure. System you're the host take control give a sense of direction to the episode and keep everything orderly instead of just bringing a topic up then asking for their general opinions. I think you should prepare more specific in depth questions that vary for each member of the show. Have them give a good response to a question about say wcs and tailor it to that person. Having too general of a question or not even a question (hey guys what did you think of this tournament let's start with tgun) and instead something like (so tgun as a player coming off your recent experience with this tournament you were actually knocked out by infeza carrier build) or whatever but yeah im sure you get the point.
On a positive note love the consistency and would love to see a wider variety of quests rather than the usuals

Yea, I've noticed this as well, I tried to get it back on track in the latest episode, and I feel that it has been more orderly than previously, but not as good as it should be.

I dunno about this one. If I set up more specific questions for each individual guest, it seems like an in-depth interview rather than a talk show. Personally I didn't really want to have to sit down and ask specific questions with each guest regarding each topic, unless of course the topic we were talking about was quite specific to the person (Take for example, IEM and Pig. I asked a lot more specific questions there)
If everyone wants me to ask more specific questions then I will do for sure, up to you guys

Yea I agree, grinding the sames quests over and over are quite boring
Seriously though, will do, like initially announced, there will be the regulars of the show and as well as a guest. But again, this week I wanted to have no guests on and see how we could go in regards to having a consistent structure and direction through discussions. Guests will be organized for futures shows now for sure, I won't slack off
Thanks again for the feedback! Love it, and I hope you keep enjoying it ^^
i know i was scared of being banned for necro, but i thought was a legit question, as he said there would be more (i think?) yet the show just died randomly and actually come to think of it i havent seen system around for ages?
Agree with tgun, having it continue would definitely be a good help Other than that, getting someone to organise it on nights you can't maybe? Since typically continuity of these sorts of shows is what gets and keeps people interested
Have NXZ on the panel to insult zerg players everywhere.
On a more serious note, try to encourage discussion out of the guys you have. Pig when he gets he chance to talk has very intelligent discussion but he rarely does. Same with when light was on the show that once. I think perhaps if you have a player on because they did something recently (mafia won something then went on) have something that brings about discussion with that player. I dunno kinda hard to improve cause so good already.

yeh we really need a lot better discussion / direction 'cos we either flip through topics too quickly without really getting into the meat of it, or go on balance tangents for 35 minutes no matter what the original topic was.
I give credit to System for doing it the amount of weeks he did consistently. It's no small thing to prepare sufficiently to host a show such as this and it would be great to see it back!
Nothing really to add which hasn't already been said - More direction and discussion on topics and bringing it back period are the two big things haha!
Dunno how I could be of assistance but let me know if I can be!
All vote for show to be hosted by Maynarde's hairless chest?
In all seriousness I would also be up for helping out! Since Kez wants to take over hosting dont hesitate to ask for any help men! The Kezman should be very good for this!
Has nothing to do with hardening up Bradley Seymore you stooge. It is about letting people who aren't as outspoken, RUDE and SHAMELESS say something. -_-"
Kez taking over is great, he is intelligent and generally pretty organised. Although he is also quite opinionated, definitely gotta tone that down abit as a host to keep things objective.
