On the subject of the recently implemented tag system, maybe location tags for LANs in the tournament section would be good.
ie. [SA], [QLD] etc. or the cities ([ADL], [BRS], [SYD] etc) And you could add [ONL] for online if you wanted all the tournaments to have a tag I guess. (Obviously you wouldn't need this for the tournament news section since they're regular tournaments and already have their own tags )

Re: formatting of page - loving the changes so far. I think the navigation menu on the left should be reordered. I love having Blogs at the top, but I feel clan-related stuff is something that people seek out - for the most part, people interested are already in the community, are looking for a specific clan forum, and know the site layout well enough to easily find what they are looking for.
As the General and StarCraft 2 categories have a wider audience (including passersby to the site) and readers are less likely to go looking for these particular posts, rather catching sight of a topic title and deciding to check it out, they should be more towards the top, so they are seen by people using the chatbox more easily.

I agree with this, but personally I think not only should sc2 general / general be at the top, but the 'house clans' and blogs and recent articles should move to the right hand side, while tournaments and archived news should move to the left.
That way you have a nice alignment between all the forum content on one side (left) and all the other content such as scheduling, blogs, articles, streams etc on the right hand side.
I think it'd be easier to have a large list of tournaments rather than a calendar that you have to mouse-over and then the list of tournaments for the next day or so (Which is usually just one or two tournaments listed). If it could be a list for everything that week and then a link to either a large list or the calendar, I think it'd be easier to know when everything is. Basically, do it more like TL, I find myself reading their events list and understanding everything in a much shorter time period on TL than I do on sc2sea.
Side note, theres an events list to stop clashes between tournaments (I think dox made it). Why not have a link to that in the events section? Its useful to know when tournaments are for players as well.
I'd love to see, up next setttings and PM's and stuff, a my posts link, that takes you to a page of threads you have posted in. That way it becomes a lot easier to go directly to threads you are active in and respond to anything you need to. Often times, threads I want get burried by other threads and I have to go searching for them. Particular if I haven't signed in for a few days.
sc2sea.com has been loading slow for me. I just clicked to go here, it took longer then 3 seconds, so I opened a tab and went to TL. Opened Day9's stream, then opened another stream. All these loaded before sc2sea.com loaded.

Yeah i agree! TL's is nice and easy to see whats happening. I don't even look at the calendar here : (
Does anyone else get this occasionally? It happens to me at home and at work, so it's not a video card issue. Both computers using Chrome. Only happens like every 1/100 page loads, only way to fix it is to reload the page.
paperclip has added some really cool features to the site lately.
1. OP Display
If you wanna alter the layout of your OP simply put [enablenews][/enablenews] at the start of your post. This will shift the horizontal side profile bar from the side to the top, giving your post a more OP article feel and creates more horizontal space for your content. This only affects the first post of a thread and for not it only works in news. So sorry, this actually isn't very relevant for most people haha
2. Google Web Fonts
You should now never have to worry the viewer's computer lacks the font you are using and won't display! You can use any google web font! A full list can be seen here http://www.google.com/webfonts/
You can use it in the following way
[googlewebfont]Font Name: font Weight[/googlewebfont][font=fontname]fantasic stuff![/font][/size]
This will come in very handy for banner headers and stuff. No more using "hardcoded" images!!
As you may have noticed cute has worked out a fantastic themes for the WCS Oceania previews. We are gonna work on a way to standardise at least 5 themes and make it easy for everyone to be able to use such pretty themes for their own articles by using just a few lines of BBcode.
I have problems logging in to sc2sea on 4:3 res, the login icon doesn't do anything.
most of the time enter works after typing a password in, but with slower pc's slow down and freeze the page.
