Ace, he was making a joke at the fact that Rufus/Spud/Voices basically plugs his stream EVERYWHERE, and everyone from AxS also plugs his stream everywhere, even though StreamBot only says it once

but if he doesn't spam it, how will newcomers see that he is streaming!
Sorry to necro this post (sort've)
[and **** off everyone that's going to say "asa is into necrophilia now?" because i know it's coming]
Would there be any chance of having some sort've European or American clock in the top right? I know it's Sc2sea.com, but I can't help but feel like it'd be nice to know what time it is elsewhere by just looking haha. (could also help managing clan wars/tournaments etc)
EDIT : I'd rather not use filthy sites, Soundwave

The problem with America is there are too many time zones and not really a dominant one. Europe you could pick a country but I'm not really sold on the benefit, especially on mobile where if an iframe doesn't load it can take the whole page with it.
As I said, it's easy to do but I'm not convinced of the utility compared to the potential downside.

Just an idea ><
We had separate Other Games forums for a variety of other genres until recently. They had very few posts and just took up space on the sidebar with a bunch of "No recent threads" notices.
The majority of threads nowadays are for organising events like clan wars or tournaments anyway and we don't do any of that for Dota 2, nor are those forums intended to be Starcraft specific anyway.
For people wondering why this is bumped and weren't around in chatbox, this is approved to be bumped with relevant posts! You wanna see somethin change? go for it nerds
The chatbox needs a minimize option. I have heard about it being discussed to be deleted due to recent events but I think this is a better option.
It has one. Top right there's an icon.
The site's design is clunky, there's all this information being thrown at you on two sides and a lot of it is irrelevant and unnecessary. It's a case of information overload and I think we should look towards a more simple design.
I agree with FluX that it does seem clunky, and rather clustered. Lots of information is thrown at you and it may be a turn off for potential new comers.
I know for a fact it took me some months to get involved with the site, purely because it all seemed so confusing, it was a major turn off.
Some suggestions I have thought of to help de-clutter sc2sea. Please feel free to leave your feedback on them.
Main Page
Removal of the two tables either side of the chat bar/News and features tables. I feel a lot of this information isn't required when I access the site at first glance. If I want to hear about someones 'mad weekend' (no jabs, its 1:30am.. Brain is dead) or someones 'omg fully sick grafix card' review. I'll go looking for it in the forums section using the forums button.
As well as this information being readily available in the main buttons in the header "About", "Streams" "Forums", etc.
The right table, I feel removing this all together, leaves us with a main page of... well.. the chat box and some stickied threads below. Other than "Upcoming events" I don't read or use any of this information, other than occasionally, noticing Twitch app/addon for chrome didnt notify me when someone i follow is online.. (Could we get linked Twitch/Azubu accounts so this would show online 'featured' and online 'followed'?!? That would be EPIC)
On Upcoming events, I feel making this more content heavy would be fantastic. Adding Proleague/GSL/Starleague matches etc with maybe a calendar. As well as adding dates for future known events and having a 30(?) day count down. Awesome.
Streams:
I feel having both the tables either side of the streams removed. Makes for a very pleasant viewing experience. I see, only what i've requested. Online streams of sc2.
Tournaments:
I feel this area requires some work. I would take on the "News & Features" table approach. Nice and colourful, with decent spacing and images for each. So you can clearly see what tourney it was, with the date/time. This would also help remove the two tables either side of every page on the website.
Forums:
Same deal here as with tournaments. For me, this should be the 'main' part of the website. Not the last option on the header. Separate the sections, give clear colour differences for each, e.g. BSG thread, use the icons for them or something. Not just white with a pen and paper for all?
About:
I feel this needs some larger reworking, I would love to see some very nicely presented one pagers on people in the scene, much like what Crescendo has been doing. I don't believe these need to be in 'News & Features" but in "About us".
Chat Box:
I think it could do with a reduction in size on the main page, it's currently 250px in height, where i think 200 would be plenty. For me, it shouldn't be the main focus of the website. The content in the forums/threads/blogs should be what makes me come here, actively LOOKING for stuff.. Not seeing half the page as a chat box.
As I said, these are my suggestions, that I feel would help de-clutter the website and 'force' people to use the buttons on the header more, when they want to search for something. Having all that information on the 'main' page, is just too much. We're not removing any content, its still all available, you just need to use a couple of clicks to get to it. Rather than squinting your eyes to find it.
