Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series
The Ascended Starcraft League is a partnered tournament of the Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series (OSC). The OSC is the Oceanic, South East Asian, North American and Chinese regional championship, which follows a yearly season format, where players earn points for placing in all partnered tournaments.
The top 32 players ranked via the OSC Player Leader board at the end of the season are then invited to play in the $5000 Grand Finale to determine the yearly champion! OSC World Rankings were established in December 2012.
In 2014 OSC partnered tournaments gave away $29691 combined prizepool, we had 155 completed partnered tournaments (up from 77 last year, which equates to 100% growth), and saw 358 individual players with points earned (up from 138 in 2013 = 159% growth)

Im interested in the Vanguard league. Just wondering how games are scheduled - do you arrange each individual match with your opponent? If they are going to be games throughout the week in the middle of the day I won't be able to make it :/
edit: or are there qualifiers for the ro32?

Its always great to see that just cause you might be Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum and Diamond, it doesn't mean that you miss out for both points and money. It is just AWESOME !!!

Here are some responses to your questions / comments:
It is free to play in this league. There is NO entry fee. But there is a deposit that is 100% refundable. We do a deposit to make sure people arn't trolling / smurfing and show up to matches. Season 1 we had 30% no show rate, after deposit was implemented we had a no show rate of 5%
Schedule: still being worked on. But most of the time groups start at 6pm PST (utc- 8 hours).
Server: These leagues priority server is North America. But if both players agree to play on another that can be arranged.
So do you stop taking signups once 32 players join, or is there some sort of qualifiers?
December 25th is date for registration to close. We go with what we have. Usually we get around 32. If we get above 32 per league then we do quick qualifiers.
I'm having an Issue here if ASL Challenger is meant for Semi professional's then why are people like Kelazhur puck pilipili keen and Alive(who is in code S) allowed to play?
