Well guys, the first year since the establishment of our Clan Time of Rising (ToR) is coming around the corner next month.
So I thought that I would do a bit of an annoucement thread of where to next and what I want us to focus on to further add to the Sc2sea Community and that of our own community here at ToR .
A little bit of how far ToR has come and developed since its establishment last March and the thinking behind forming ToR. I remember back then Clans weren't nearly as common as they are today I remmeber back then there was the big 4 including aLt , nGen , inFi and TA iTA along with FaDe , Eve and a couple of others who we occasionally warred with ^^. We started off with a few close members who aimed and dedicated to improve, yet keeping within the casual classing and just enjoying the game and playing with their fellow Clan members.
From there accomplishing great individual and as a community achievements such as gaining 2nd place on the 2011 Sc2sea Awards for the Best New Clan.
To growing and developing our Clan and our representing Team that can rival that of any Clan in SEA ;D sporting 4 Grand Master and many upcoming Masters , including players and determined to improve and live for the game from Bronze through to Diamond .
Well over the last few weeks I have been having some time to think about this and in light of the last few match days for the SEACL, there are particular aspects that I would like to focus on.
The first of these aspects the more important of them is communication. Over the last few weeks, we did in fact have to give a couple of walkovers due to the fact that we were not able to reach some of the players in time for Matches and also other Clan events. So to improve upon this I do want all you guys to be more involved on the ToR Clan Forums on Sc2sea I do tend to keep updated on here a lot more then our Facebook and that.
This is something that initially I wanted to be invite only, but as our Clan has grown significantly larger I would like to post the details up here on this thread.
Also some of you guys may not know, but we are in fact on Facebook where I still keep relatively updated on there.

Im still wanting you guys to also send those emails through to me guys and then from there I can send round the team emails to the Tier 4 and 5 managers respectively.
timeofrising@live.com
But yeah anyways guys, we really need to get a move on with tighting up the communication around the place and really building and developing relationships with each and every member of our up and coming community ^^.

Now to focussing more on our SEACL Teams. We did in fact kick off this amazing tournament quite well but since then its safe to say we have lost the momentum a little bit. In fact I would like to talk more to you all as a group and as a team and so I would like it everyone would be able to be on:
Where there a few things I want to discuss with you guys and the teams talking to their managers whom are looking out for them. Dont worry guys (: just a good friendly chat.
I also wanted to bring to your attention more guys, that we have been improving quite a lot over the last few weeks more individually and in pairs. I have seen many games over the last few weeks being played and arranged by ToR members. But we do have to develop more as a team and so for that I particularly want to focus on "Team Practice" now to bring our 3 Tier Teams more together and to really make us more of a competitive force as we shape up to take out this SEACL 2 across our 3 entered divisions.

Im divising a format that will not conflict with any other events that may take place over the next few weeks, so ill make a post when I get round to editing it again, it will run in some respect similar to the Weekly Practice Sessions
I know how a lot of you guys actively participate, help out and contribute to this amazing community. I feel though that we as a CLAN can do more for this active community, which has given us sooo much that we really should give more back.
One thing that I do want to say is that Donations are greatly appreciated guys, so that we can get some tournaments for both the ToR and Sc2sea community and really forming and developing relationships further, between us and the Sc2sea community.
So yeah guys any support is greaty appreciated, in the next couple of months I do want to try my best to create a big scale tournament so that we can really contribute and add to this community guys. Further adding to eSport as a Clan.
So yeah guys, thanks for taking time to read this gigantic wall of text. I still have more aspects to add to this write up, I just can't seem to focus tonight quite well :P
Anyways guys you all and I swear ill make this thread nice and pretty when I get the chance
Not even sure when I joined the family but has been an epic journey to say the least. Have gone from a bronze 4 gating noob to a ever improving gold / plat noob. The better you get the harder the game slaps you in the face!
congratulation ToR ! May this clan alongside with other sea's clan keep improving in the coming times
Cheers,
Doctor
