Ladies and germs…. Wait, that’s not right. Let me try again. Ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to the second SC2 Scene recap and today I will be providing you with information about any recent happenings in the world of Starcraft. From tournaments like the NASL to the GSL, from the BSG and the SEACL.*
These days there are so many tournaments happening simultaneously that its hard to follow them all, so SC2SEA aims to become a one stop news site for the citizens of SEA to learn about all latest happenings in the world of Starcraft quickly and in just one post!
*Pssst Remember the LAN party in your mother’s basement? Sadly that won’t be recapped.
MLG Columbus is unfortunately coming to a close today. We saw competitors from all over the world come to compete for a cash prize in games such as HALO, Black Ops, but most importantly, Starcraft 2!
We’ve seen some great games and great commentators like Sean ‘Day9’ Plott, Nick ‘Tasteless’ Plott and Daniel ‘Artosis’ Stemkoski. If you missed any of the awesome Starcraft 2 streams or if you just want to see who won you can click the link below. http://pro.majorleaguegaming.com/competitions/17
The epicness of Idra
The popular Zerg player Idra is known for his "bm" and rage quitting in games when he loses, without offering a 'gg' to his opponent.
In this MLG, however, he quits.. while he was WINNING?!! A self-explanatory must-watch!
FXOm00nGLaDe has been absolutely bulldozing through any SEA tournament he decides to take part in.
After already taking the ESL title last week, Glade took this week's ESL tournament in a Finals rematch from last week against a top SEA Zerg, inF.
We also saw Glade go undefeated throughout the entire Masters Cup, taking out one Beethoven in the semi-finals 2-0 and overcoming top Thailand player NeoRedArchon 3-0 in the finals to take home the $145 first place prize and all the bragging rights he could ever wish for!
Will Glade dominance over the region's tournaments continue? Or will someone finally figure out how to knock him off his throne?

This without a doubt was the greatest tournament on this week. There were 272 players signing-up, all competing for the $5000 grand prize. We saw many great battles and memorable moments, but in the end, coming out from Korea to compete, SlayerS_MMA took the loot home.
Coming in second was IMLosira, third place we had oGsMC and in fourth place, the highest ranked non-Korean, EGIdrA.

The biggest happening this week was the start of our very own version of the GSTL, called the SEACL. We had 8 teams sign-up for the first qualifying round and battle it out for the chance to be in the quaters. It was held in the KoF/ GSTL format with the first team to 3 wins advancing.
If your interested in organizing a team to participate and try to qualify you can click the link below for further details, sign ups are still open! http://www.sc2sea.com/showthread.php?t=1429
