We enter the final month of 2012 and thus the first year in the history of the Fusion Slugs. Indeed the start of Jan will represent 12 months as a clan. But for now lets focus on the last month!

The Internal Cup has been progressing, although exams has slowed it down. But now just a handful of players remain. Last night saw that number fall to just three players left in contention. DronesInJail , Qwerty and Captain. These three players will be fighting it out in the Winners Bracket Final (DronesInJail vs Qwerty), Losers Bracket Final (Captain vs TBD) and the Grand Final. We will be doing these games in one epic session, with casting. Full details will be posted once we have the time so anyone who is keen to check it out can!

Apart from the Internal Cup the last month was pretty quiet, with many players focusing on studies. Activity has increased in the last week though and we will be looking for clan wars to resharpen our skills before the next SEACL.

However we did have some big news, with our 2nd Grandmaster player. Captain finally joined Qwerty in at the start of the current ladder season, which saw two Fusion Slugs in GM for the first time. In other promotions we had BlueS hitting Gold and Quackpork hit gold, having changed race to Terran!

We also had a quiet month in recruitment as we focused on internal development, with Takkunen, a joining.

Decemeber is looking to be a big month, with lots of people coming back from exams and having holidays and keen to hit higher leagues before Heart of the Swarm comes out!
