To those getting the language pack issue (including the stuffed up logon UI where none of the buttons have text).
Dingobloo has found a post on the Battle.net forums here, the problem seems to stem from the locale in your My Documents\Starcraft II\Variables.txt file. The locale variables need to be enSG for the SEA client and not something else.
Code:
localeidassets=enSG
localeiddata=enSG
Or: enUS for NA client, zhTW for Taiwan client, koKR for Korean client
StarCraft II patch 1.5.0 is on the horizon and it’s bringing a number of changes to your StarCraft II Battle.net experience, including an entirely new custom game experience with Arcade, tons of new additions and improvements to the StarCraft II Editor, and streaming downloads to make patching even faster.
We’ll provide a more detailed guide about what’s in the patch, including the Arcade, soon. In the meantime, since all these big changes are coming, we wanted to provide a little guidance so everyone is prepared and able to get into the game quickly!
Getting the Patch
The patching process for patch 1.5.0 will be a bit different from previous StarCraft II patches, and will occur in two stages. First, to prepare your copy of StarCraft II to ‘migrate’ over to the new streaming version of the client, a small tools patch will need to be downloaded and applied.
i assume if they are posting a guide on double clicking sc2 icon and then being patient aka guide to patching - that the patch is actually coming in the near future?

Hey, people in the chatbox are always claiming how different they are from "the whiners over at Team Liquid", so let's not have our v1.5.0 thread turn into a waterfall of complaints and balance arguments, shall we?
Alteast it's better than the BNET forums. To be honest, this is a step in the right direction atleast for Blizzard and obviously thinks like team functions and etc have been promised to come out with HoTS.
Banelings will now auto-cast Unburrow if a Colossus comes within their attack range.
What the? Why? I presume they mean the bane's attack range? Would be really stupid if its the Collo's attack range, lol. Still dont get it. Unless it was a bug before where the banes wouldn't unburrow against a collo? In which case, they need to write more effectively.

It's written perfectly clearly. You can set the Baneling un-burrow to Auto-cast when enemy units walk over them. Previously the Colossus was classified as an air unit, so Banelings wouldn't behave as intended against them. It's fixed now.
wait you can auto baneling land mine? doesnt that take all the skill out of it?...

You always could. Un-burrow doesn't NECESSARILY mean explode, you generally get a more cost efficient hit if you hit X yourself and time it right while they're still burrowed.
the baneling thing is probably a bug to do with colossus being a ground unit that anti air can hit as well
auto unburrow has been around for ever and i used to use it in silver until i would, as dox said, lose so many banes for nothing :P
Im just ammused that they think so little of their customers that they have to write a guide on how to wait for the patch to finish. And publish ahead of time so everyone can have a chance to read and understand its complex implications
edit: after reconsidering some of the people on TL and bnet forums
yeah probably good idea to post it :s

Actually it's extremely ambiguous, hence why so many people asked for clarrifcation. 'Their' could refer to either unit. The auto-cast sentence COULD (although logically to experienced SC2 players, shouldn't) refer to the auto-cast now being opt-out rather than op-in, like it currently is. Obviously, yes, think about it for a second and you can probably assume that its a bug fix. However they should have written, 'a bug has been fixed whereby banelings were not auto-unburrowing against collosi'. I was simply making a point at the time. I have to deal with ambiguous sentences in technical documents all the time, and it drives me crazy that people can write like this and get paid for it.
