Appeal: Help Day9 get the Shorty Awards in Gaming! Closing tmr 11th Feb!
Dear SC2SEA community,
I am sure there are quite a lot of us in SC2SEA who watch Day9 regularly, be it for his analysis or for the sheer entertainment value of his commentary. I for one have benefited greatly from watching his videos and have spent many nights falling asleep to his soothing voice droning in the background.
Day9 has done much for the SC community. His energy and dedication in putting out daily hour-long webshows to help everyone 'be a better gamer' is driven by his desire to become the gaming ambassador for SC2, a champion for E-sports.
Here is our chance to help him realize that dream by first nominating Day9 for the Shorty Awards in Gaming to help him get 'a piece of plastic' he so desperately desires.
Please go to http://shortyawards.com/day9tv and nominate him for the award using your Twitter account today. (Deadline 11/2/2011)
He has been toe-to-toe with Seananners, Adam Montoya, and at the time of posting, is down 18 votes. Vote for him now and take comfort that you have done your part to give back to someone who has given so much.
A big thank you to everyone who voted! Bigger thanks to everyone who's voting!
After hearing Seananners still being ahead, I decided that this was getting silly. In my opinion, day9 deserves the shorty award for gaming more than seananners. As a result, I actually made a twitter account just to vote for day9.

New twitters account dont count towards the total, and yes i believe day9 deserves the short award. He works so hard into e-sports, etc. All seananners has is a lot of subscribers on youtube = easier to get votes.
After coming to PC from XBox, my heart still likes with Seananners. GO NANNERPANTS! Seananners has a job at machinima, which is the largest gaming channel on yt, and he helps out the community a lot as well with his shows like The Control Room where he gives tips like Day[9] does with his dailies.
Even the smallest donations help keep sc2sea running! All donations go towards helping our site run including our monthly server hosting fees and sc2sea sponsored community tournaments we host. Find out more here.
