@nirvana no worries man, was just poking fun at Frogmite
@Frogmite, dude, true its a French beer, but the people I know that really like it among my friends are girls! But I don't doubt your manliness, you're the bomb
Well, speaking about awesome French things, when people ask me what's awesome about France, I'll quote this
Frogmites argument is valid because he has included pretty girls in his post. I think the Blanc version is nicer though. Kronenburg would be considered a "sweet" tasting beer i guess.
Dear all who are going, just a note, and voicing one of alex's concerns, especially for the under 18s.
As much as we'd like for as many people to be there as possible, please remember to help support the event by supporting the bar, ie. Buying drinks/food as it's a business after all, and if the event is great, we don't want to discourage the management from denying future events by making it not profitable for them

Life is short, why waste it on sleep.
I've just gotten word that the Internet connection is smooth at the pub, with download speeds of 3Mbps which I think should be just fine for our use, so in terms of techical issues this party is good to go!! And yes, pls come down and buy food and drinks and have fun!
Hi, you have brought out long time lurkers to the yard lol.
19th is as many people have said, in the middle of uni exam crunch time but I'll be able to make it as my exams are a few days away. In addition, I'd like to lend a hand in photographing the event. I'm a casual photographer if that makes sense haha.
My bf is interested in coming too, so that makes 2 of us.

That will be good if you can take some snapshots of the event and post it on the site as well .
I would like to highlight the post of Mezza. It is very important that everyone at the Barcraft order food/drinks, the more we'll spend on that night, better are the chances to do another Barcraft.
The capacity of the bar is not crazy, so we won't be able to host everyone if we end up too many for the event, especially if the bar management states that we're not ordering drinks.
Another thing, the only beer allowed to be drank during barcraft is 1664
I put a photo of the room where we will do the Barcraft:
On the internet site of the pub they say that it's for:
Standing - 20 pax
Seated - 15 pax
There is also a door we can open to the street so it can widen it a bit.

i think we should try a bigger place, there will be more than 30 people for sure
It's quite difficult to find suitable places for a Barcraft actually. And if you want to rent bigger places, during weekends, you have to spend something like 2500sgd during the night.
I think it's better to make a first one, see how it goes, see how much we can spend, how many people will really come. If we are too many, some of us will have to stand outside, i may ask to put extra tables on the street side so everybody can watch the games.
What could be interesting to know, is how much we spent during the night, so we might be able to rent bigger places. My concern is that we have 50 people and only 10 order drinks, well not really worth trying bigger places

Monsieur Frog, I'll only be able to bring one laptop and one HDMI-cable. If there we are to use more than 1 TV screen, we might need to have more laptops, or source for a HDMI-splitter, which ain't the cheapest thing on the market. Would live your advice, please!

A minimum entry requirement of 1 purchased drink for each attendee is reasonable.
[*]We'll have to order at least 4 food platers (for 20 people, 10bux per person), so please take at least 10bux with you for the barcraft. and don't eat before the barcraft or the food platers will all finish in the void (as know as "my stomach").
