WALL OF TEXT INCOMING
In this scene it's too often that our greatest up-and-coming talents are forgotten... I'd like to take the time now to remind you all of a forgotten hero of the scene that will only come back to fight the good fight if we prove that we miss him as much as he misses us.
Who is it? You may ask.
Well, let me tell you a little bit about his humble beginnings in this community;
It all started way back in November of 2012, this was BoardingPear's first foray into the land of sc2's SEA scene.
He melded well with ETL, quickly rising to become a strong player in a matter of months under the guidance of his peers.
But it all went wrong when the worst clan manager ever, Soundwave, didn't send out our hero BoardingPear for a single match during the entire SEACL #3 season. (which is why they didn't do so well, of course)
After the SEACL season, BoardingPear felt rejected and not needed by his "friends" in ETL. So he left for greener pastures... AxS was the destination, and seeing as SouL was such a master of clan war tactics... He easily saw the value in not only having one of his best friends in the clan, but one of the strongest players in SEA on the roster.
Mere weeks after joining AxS, BoardingPear reached league and began to really show is stuff in clan wars, here are a couple examples of just how good he was in clan wars;
...Okay, so some of you might still doubt him... Well rest assured, he had an insane amount of top tournament placings, here are a few results;
- First place in the 116th BSG Open
- 2nd place in the 124th BSG Open
- Top 32 in the 2nd Bass Fish Open
By now you all must have realized why he is worth begging to come back to this scene.
He has so much untapped talent and raw skill that he'd put even soO to shame if he spent a couple weeks playing.
Alas, with the stupid as **** changes to (thors, mines etcetc), he stopped playing and pursued a professional career as a Silver 3 LoL player, and a consistent rank 16~ Hearthstone player.
These alone definitely outshine his top diamond ladder scores for a few seasons in a row.
He was always different in this respect... going away from sc2 because of how bullshit TvZ was to become 10x more mediocre in 100x less respectable games... you could even say...
We actually ended up doing REALLY well in SEACL Tier 4. I think we came 3rd or 4th. Such a great ******* tournament. We saw Luckyshyt's amazing all-kill and Typhoon go from like 1-7 or w/e the hell he was to 9-9 or something. We did super well and it's a sick memory.
Let's just not talk about ETL's T2 team. That didn't go so well.
EDIT: Also please come back Mitchy brah
