Originally an electronica song, which is equally as great. The record label hosted a remix competition and this rock influenced remix won - fair enough too!
Gotta love JB, I also like the stuff he did with Gary Lucas that probably not many people have heard. One that I have been listening to a bit recently is
Not just this song, the whole album (Requiem by The Getaway Plan). Can't believe these guys have finally gotten back together for a new album, it's so sick.
First song I'm going to put down is from a fellar called Bob Dylan, he's the reason I got interested in music and still I'm amazed how far ahead of his time he was. Hard to pick a song out of the thousand or so he's written, but I've chosen One Too Many Mornings as it's one of my favourite.
Terry Bozzio: One of my greatest inspirations as a drummer. Though this isn't his most difficult or technical works it highlights his very animated playstyle.
FZ: Straight from the sixties all the way through to 1993 where he died tragically from Prostate cancer. The guy is an absolute icon for any music listener. He incorporates comedy into his wide catalog of music. Here he plays straight out rock but has done many different genres over his career -
Jazz, Funk, Pop, Gospel, Classical, Gospel, Dance / Disco. Read up on this man if you don't know him already; very controversia, artistic man.
