I've had a few requests for volunteers come through, and now I'm wrapping up this organisation by asking for a few more spots.
I have the following usher positions going:
2 x Saturday (8.30am - 4pm)
2 x Saturday (3.30pm - 11pm)
2 x Sunday (3.30pm - 11pm)
For those who want to know what it entails, I've tried to make volunteer positions as fair and rewarding as possible, by ensuring that you are always with a friend/partner (to talk to), always rotate stations every hour (to break up monotony) and you're welcome in the venue for the rest of the event. That is, if your shift ends at 4pm, then you can socialise/watch any time outside of that (before or after your shift).
The stations, so you know whats involved:
- Tickets
- Media Stairs
- VIP Seating
- Player Lounge
Duties: Ensuring visitors/spectators have access to various areas and are allowed in the venue.
I also have a very serious GFX position available, but would prefer someone who wants to work Thursday - Sunday.
This position actually involves working directly with the stream team backstage, feeding the stream GFX as they are required. You will need to be proficient in photoshop and quick to think on your feet to provide a LIVE broadcast with the GFX required. FREE FOOOD & backstage staff access
Last but not least, we need a venue photographer who is willing to take stills of YOU, the guests!
You have to be charming, love life and want to take photos of your fellow SC2 lovers in front of a public media wall. Simple really!
