So ive been thinking about this for a while, and with the amount of positive feedback I have been getting from my casts I have decided to go one and possibly to steps further:
1. After Christmas I will be creating my own youtube account with all my casting shenanigans. I am hoping the popularity from the people here will stem out to the larger community this way and will also bring some more light into the SEA scene. We aren’t just second rate players or casters .
2. Assuming the first idea is taken well I would like to do a permanent live stream of said shenanigans (and serious casting) once a week where I would cast, I suppose Day 9 ish (of course without the awesome knowledge) doing any casts people request. This includes clan wars, showmatches and maybe even just some random replays that are amusing as hell :P
And this is where I bring it to you guys. I want to see what others think of this, good or bad. For my second idea I will post something later on regarding times and what people would like included, as remember as much as this is for my fun and amusement, all you out there need to enjoy it as well.
If you want to help you can by giving me your thought (SO I CAN STEAL THEM) and/or sending me replays that you would like casted for my channel. Obviously I would love some bigger names for SEA so I can promote them, but I would rather cast fun and amusing games with a lot of back and forth than a bland macro fest for an hour -_-..... TvT.... erm.....
And so I leave it with you guys!
Sincerely from your topless elf hat wearing caster in the making, Flamga
One drunk cast a month. I don't care how ridiculous it sounds, do it.
Remember those casters who did 'when cheese fails?' take a page from their book, I say once every two(?) weeks grab a loltastic replay and just make everyone laugh.
Good luck! You're totally my fave up and coming SEA caster
Maybe think about skipping the whole youtube thing though. The youtube cast market is so oversaturated, that it'd be really hard to pull viewers away from Husky and co. Liveshows with lots of community involvement are where it's at!
Thanks for the feedback guys as I said this is why I decided to post on here to get your thoughts. I was thinking YouTube as more of an archive system for anything streamed. But yea can't wait till after Christmas now
Definitely focus on the live events and just use Youtube as an archive. Kind of like Day 9 does. I much prefer to navigate through Youtube VODS than search through twitch archives.

I think having a distinct SEA flavour to it will definetely help. Especially if you, for instance, give a quick wrap up of the SEA scene over the past week (or however frequently you are doing it). So the CO stuff, the master's cup stuff, BSG stuff and general clan and team news. As well as the entertaining casts of course. Get some SEA personalities on when you can as well. Whether for interviews or co-casts. Guess it depends on how much variety you want in the content. I think, like Cute said, casting is a little over-saturated, so variety and SEA flavour will definetely set you apart from everyone else.

This is actually what I had in mind, my only issue is that my knowledge is still limited (well i believe it to be) so during holidays I will come up with a structure and we will go from there!!! SEA Fighting!!!
Nice man, I tuned into your casts and trolled you a bit xD I think you told me your gf was there on stream too! But yea, you have an amazing casting voice, would love to have more SEA VOD casters!

Well one way would be to get some nice high masters/GM players to send replays into you and together you can talk about what they were thinking during the match and why they made certain decisions and stuff. Day9 has done this on a couple of occassions with his Frienday Wednesday stuff. So that way it would be your combined knowledge doing the show, plus whatever questions you might wanna pick up from the chat. Could also do the same with lower level players and in that way have be more like a coaching session. That way it's more of a 'let's explore SC2', than a 'here is my expert opinion'.
But if you come up with a few formats, and can't decide which one, use them all!
Well i will go away over the christmas holidays and come back with a plan for the show and would love all your feedback on the specific ideas I will be including!
