wow, sooooo BM - don't discredit a teams sponsors, eSports 101 guys.
-_-
Australian eSports in general is under funded. Companies that do help out should be supported and heralded as the saviours of eSports.
Also, what they do for their teams is between them and the team.. why are you guys having this conversation in this thread?
My rep to System is cut off so I'll include it here: Website isn't launched yet. what is up is simply a template for the design - teams sponsored by Tec Masters should be linking to their Social media.

Honestly not trying to BM, just a bit curious as to what the go is.
E: Wow just refreshed the page and saw the posts above.
Demzy, I think you need to stop posting and stop speculating, as goes with Primary school goes with eSports.. No-one likes a "Know it all".
We could all complain that we haven't seen SPIRE in the Australian market before, but we all +REP and say awesome because they are supporting eSports. Leave it at that.
Ok guys dont shoot the messenger, the owner of the team as a wholr ensures me they are legit sponsors and that we can get product from them if needed. I will clarify everything whrn I talk to him, calm down and don't hate I will also day everyone who has applied I haveet them know about all possible risks regardong the team and how I would coer them, but lets hope this doesn't happen...

Know it all? I know* who runs TecMasters (wez) and i know his background, also having played for a team who is sponsored by TecMasters (Vires) does account for something, I never state i know it all - but I know enough. I find it disheartening that people would generally "dislike" my post for trying to inform people of whats being put up here.
@Mayo, I have received much hate from people about Spire being unknown in the Australian market. People say congratulations that its growth and support for Supremacy. I'm straight up with my players and I keep it that way. I even get hate from posting an announcement at the "wrong time of day" for god's sake.

I think they are instead questioning why you're putting all the information up, it does seem as if you're looking to discredit them by posting what their sponsors provide. But even then, what you posted is partially speculation, so it really isn't right to judge the team at all based off what you said.

And because people hate you on Cybergamer/GT eSPORTS means you have to do the same here?
Just like to say that I currently play in BF3 ( for Xbox ) for these guys and they are great, they get everything done quickly, help with anything you need and it's a bit sad to see so much disrespect about a team trying to help expand e-sports
And whoever it is they pick up they will be very happy under TeKnicity

All comments where from my phone while I was at school >_<
Also I confirmed that all sponsor aren't financial just product based and that a financial sponsor is coming. Until then if we find a good enough player worth sending to interstate events it will come out of mine and the owner's very own pockets.

So a small company who supports a gaming community, Carnage and many more teams are going to provide interstate funding for teams? I highly doubt they can keep that kind of consistency without a loss.
I would think they would only support Carnage with interstate fees if anything.
Demzy,
Honestly I think its fine if you want to explain to people what the conditions are, but regarding what you do yourself, it is also a hypocritical statement. When you released Supremacy, nobody bagged on your sponsors like that. Sponsorship for a team is something that is private and should not be easily 'explained' to everyone. Although I am happy that you are helping those who may tryout, it is still the team's choice whether to give that information, and the player's choice to sign up or not.
But yes, if the poster can add additional information as to what players get, it will be much more helpful.
I can assure you that he is incorrect regarding the Carnage Sponsorship from TecMasters. But we are the primary team they support, so I'm unaware of the conditions of other teams contracts - along with demzy, I have no idea.. and am not putting forward my incorrect assumptions.
