Masters Gaming Arena (formerly known as MSI Beat IT) has been announced for 2015.
MSI MGA will kick off with regional qualifiers for the United States, Europe and Asia. The first qualifier will start in June for Asia, with subsequent weeks covering the rest of the regions across the globe. The 4-day Grand Finals will be held in late August in the United States, where the best gamers from all around the world will compete over more than $200,000 USD in cash prizes and travel support.
SEA and Australia had separate qualifiers last year, but I'm actually all for it that it's combined now even though we only have 1 spot. We don't deserve so many spots tbh.
Any chance I could get manually added to the SEA/OCE sc2 bracket or something?
The site is so garbage that I can't add an account that's already on my profile to play this. ^_^
Given there's only 16 spots, 1 to SEA is very fair.
Not throwing SEA in with KR is awesome.
Global representation in events gets a big thumbs up from me
Yeah 1 slot out of 16 is totally reasonable.
It looks like Japanese players are supposed to play in China Japan Qualifier and don't have to fight you guys over the slot.
While chinese players will be formidable there are upsides to this arrangement as we have better ping to KR/TW and they have 2 slots.
