To all you guys out there, I was curious as to what NZ is doing as to support eSports. I mean all there have been are a couple of tournaments here and there, but we could do so much more for eSports in New Zealand.
More LANS And NZ Tourneys . Most of the usual Aus/Singapore tourneys are too late for some of us ,Because they start at like 10PM And can sometimes last for a long time which is especially annoying if you have work in the morning .
Great idea
making this thread

We have a new distributor in NZ now and are looking to do some more there
We currently sponsor a gaming team (most of them are in NZ) playing games such as;
- CSS
- CS 1.6
- SC2
- DoTA
- Guitar Hero/marvel vs capcom/street fighter
We are looking to do a lot of stuff with Mid City net cafe and GIGA net cafe. All of our players play at GIGA net café.

I know exactly what you mean bro, Most of the Sc2sea tournaments when I use to compete more regularly in them were like extremely late because of AEST time. We really need to get something started i reckon ^^

But we really need to something more for the common/average/typical Sc2 players that are out there in NZ.
Because I know for a fact there is a lot of them out there, the only thing that they can really participate in is the events at Sc2sea and even then I know for a fact that it can be quite difficult for some of us to attend them, due to time restrictions.
Also maybe LAN's and that around other places in NZ. I mean the North Shore has multiple Net Cafes such as Caprica and YoYo. Which could be exceptional venues and would provide awesome entertainment, as I know a lot of Koreans around the Albany area that really play Sc ^^.
Just really need to think how we can kick off eSports more for NZ overall. We need to do more, just saying bro.
As much as id love more nz events we just arnt that big of a market when you consider how big we are and only auckland (sometimes) is worth it. and mayo i see no sc2 team there im sure there would be a few willing nz players keen to help remedy this :P

You never know Stallion. I reckon there is enough room to make this succesful. Huge potential I do believe ^^

Tt.GIGA Kowi, now will be MEKA.Tt Kowi.
@Spartaz, I'm not sure if you understood fully what I said.
I basically meant; This is what we do currently for NZ, we want to do more.

Mmmhm. Exactly what I thought. I can't play PDCL because of this

Thinking of starting an E-Sports revolution in NZ huh?, I'm in!
Haha I just think that it is possible to take off, looking forward to seeing some interesting stuff from "Tt". Can't really think of how to kick off a NZ eSports revolution xD
