How does it work?
All interested players for weekend #1 will nominate themselves in this thread by 30th August (Saturday).
If you wish to nominate another, please ensure that the person you nominate acknowledges it in the thread to confirm that he/she is able to play.
A public poll will then be created and everyone gets to vote, who they want to see facing off in weekend #1 on the 7th September.
The voting will end 3 September.
The top 3 most voted will then have the opportunity to play.
What is the format?
The most voted player will be A, 2nd most voted B and 3rd most voted C.
A will battle it out with B in a BO5.
The winner will then have to battle C in another BO5.
What are the stakes?
Honour, Glory, Fame!
OSC Points
Winner of each set will be awarded 15 OSC points; Loser will be awarded 5 OSC points. A total of 20 OSC points per BO5 set!
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 16: 5 OSC points
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 17-32 ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
Anyone ranked 16th - 9th beats anyone ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
1st - 8th have no chance to earn bonus points
Prize pool
The King who beats his opponent in both sets will walk away with $10 (AUD).
What if the winner (A or B) of the first set loses to player C?
He does not get to cash out for that weekend i.e. no cash prize will be paid out.
BUT the money will be snowballed into the 2nd and 3rd weekend set evenly. i.e. Weekend 2 and 3 will now have $15 as the prize.
Player C will have the option to be Player A in the next round. And only the top 2 voted for the next round will enter the next arena as Player B and C respectively. IF Player C from 1st week chooses to be Player A in 2nd week, the prize pool for him will be $20 to be fair. And 3rd week will be reset back to $10.
What if there is no cash out in weekend #2 either?
Then the prize pool for weekend #3 will be $30. Get it now?
Other points to note?
The overall winner [after receiving the cash payout] of each weekend will be respectfully asked to skip the next round to allow for others to have more opportunities to participate in this.
There will be 3 rounds/sets (one every 2 weekends).
If anyone in the top 3 most voted should be unable to play due to last minute commitments, the opportunity will be given to the next most voted etc.
Please vote for who you would like to see playing in the first weekend of KotHotS #1. Each sc2sea member may cast 2 votes max.
The top voted player will be designated player A, 2nd B, 3rd C respectively. If any player A to C are unable to make it, the next most voted player will be moved up into the set and the positions changed.
Voting will end in 5 days.

After a week of voting, the following players have been decided.
Player A : Probe Player B : Wally Player C : Enderr
The games will begin with A vs B i.e. Probe vs Wally in a BO5.
Winner of A vs B will vs Player C i.e. Enderr in another set of BO5.
Both Probe and Wally have a chance to walk away with $10 and grab some OSC points while at it if they win both BO5.
Will Enderr be able to stop them and put himself in the running for it by beating the winner and taking on as Player A in the next round?
Date : 7 September, 2014 Sunday Time : 4pm AEST/ 2pm SGT/ 6pm NZT Server : SEA (ILOVESC2SEA) Stream :http://www.twitch.tv/23nemesis
If you weren't voted top 3 this round, there is always next round and stay close! If anyone backs out due to last minute personal commitments, you could still get the shot at this.

After some discussion, it has been decided that Probe has till Tuesday to reschedule vs Enderr. If the rescheduling is unable to take place, Probe will be the official winner for week #1.
