First off I wanted to give all the teams, players and managers alike a massive thank you for participating in this season's Tier 2 tournament, you all have contributed to the vibe and the feeling of the tournament, which made admining this tier for DeNile and myself all the more enjoyable.
But... It isn't over yet, 4 teams have advanced through the group stages of the tournament into the final playoffs, which will be taking place in Heart of the Swarm!
This series I feel will be a close one for sure with both sides consistently performing across this season. With aLt comfortably claiming first place in Group A, they are the favorite heading into this fixture, but IXL have the capacity to surprise you - so tune in to see how the fixture goes down. The fixtures to watch in this series are between the legendary Singaporean toss and leader of aLt, NirvAnA and the up and coming Melbourne , now a representative of Qmx., RuineD. Not only will this series be one to look out for, but the heated PvZ series between Manly and Savior could be one that decides who advances through to the finals!
Manilla has been the team from Group B that has stood out the most from the second half of the tier this season. Taking out IXL in a close 3-2 series to take the first position in their group, they are the team to be reckoned with heading into this fixture. With the new dynamic and style of gameplay of HoTS, it's going to be interesting to see how each of these match ups pan out for the competition.
We will be confirming the details for the final rounds within the next couple of days and posting up the previews to each of these series.
So come along all ^^ it's going to be a close competition for all 4 of these teams have put on a strong showing across the last 7 weeks of the competition and with the final legs being played in HoTS, it is a contest not to be missed!
IrisFLuX:
Maybe if you ask nicely they'll change it LoL instead
fray`Petraeus:
ur silly
Av.ToRSpartaz:
David less LoL man!
aLtNXZ:
Because then you have a chance of winning DDDDDD
So a tournament played in WOL is having the finals in HOTS.....which isnt balanced. OKOK THIS WILL BE FUN -.-???
and to whom ever is going to bring up IEM, just because they did it, doesnt make it right,
Well going into Heart of the Swarm and with a fresh new map pool, there are going to be some changes in regards to the formatting of the final legs of this tournament.
First off it's going to remain in the same pro league Bo3 format, 4 x Bo3 with the ace played where required.
But... here is the difference. The maps aren't pre-determined for Maps 2 and 3 for each Bo3 series.
For example:
Map 1: Xel Naga Caverns
Map 2: Chosen by loser of Map 1
Map 3: Chosen by loser of map
But the winner of each map has two vetoes available to him. Just to increase the dimension to the tournament in terms of flexibility and decision making in regards to map choices.
Streams and match previews will be posted up in the next couple of days so far we have Flamga and the IXL casting duo Grimz and Runamok looking like they will be casting Manilla vs iVn and IXL vs aLt respectively!
Regarding the current situation in Invision vs Team Manila:
In behalf of Team Manila, I'm sorry, but we cannot accept any sort of rescheduling. Our players have other commitments this week and can't afford a postponement. First of all, it's unfair for us since we managed to show up on the scheduled date/time and they don't.

These two teams have been consistently performing over these last few weeks of the SEACL and going into the finals, it will be a hard fought win for both teams. iVn taking a convincing 3-1 win over Team Manilla last week, the team to advance in first seed from group B, they will be sure to go into this fixture feeling very confident. But let's not forget, the reigning champions of Tier 1 from SEACL#2. Looking at the match ups, the ones to look out for are NXZ vs Forbz in what is definitely going to be one entertaining ZvT series, also never rule out the man himself, NirvAnA. Going up against Mufasa in a PvZ fixture, it will be interesting to see what tricks he has up that sleeve of his.
Also any caster that is up for casting the finals, which is taking place tonight at 7pm AEST, who is wanting to cast the event give me a shoutout on "torspartaz".
Cheers guys ^^ and good luck for both teams heading into the finals!
