so its not much, but this is home.. and where I spend most of my down time.
but I have a question for the tech heads..
as you can all see, my space is pretty limited.. hence the 14" AW laptop. but I'd like to start using my monitor (primarily for my 360 under the round table) for gaming etc...
but I need a keyboard to go in front.. (specifically, id swap the monitor and laptop and still play on my round table)
I've looked at various Razers and what not, and most are way to big..
so I have narrowed it down to Three..
Ones actually a SC2 keyboard, the Marauder (i'd probably find the flashing lights annoying)
A Leopold fc700r
used by Jaedong and co... Id get Cherry Red Key Switches... am just concerned about me not liking the feel of the keys (big fat and chunky), as I have never liked them.
Or...
a Logitech K810
Ok, this is not a gaming keyboard.. its a bluetooth keypad that feels incredibly nice to the touch and is small like my M14x keyboard... Its got practically the same button lay out as well, except no "end" or "home" keys.......
but i wonder would it be suitable for gaming?? I've done countless searches today trying to find anything gaming related about it, and i have found nothing.
Can anyone post what they would recommend or buy plz, or just thoughts?
b3nje909 - Go for a mechanical Keyboard. The Razer one you have listed isn't mechanical, I'd suggest looking at the Razer Black Widow Stealth Tournament edition. Or some other nice Mechanical keyboard that you like the feel of.
Personally, no surprises here, My gear:
Razer Black Widow Ultimate Keyboard
Razer Death Adder Mouse
Razer Megasoma Mousepad
Razer Kraken Pro Headset

+1 for this, but i'd recommend the leopold above or something like a das keyboard over a black widow. Will last a lot longer. Depending on if you use the right numpad or not, a lot of mechanical keyboards come in "tenkeyless" flavour which would give you more room for a mouse on your tiny desk.
Something like this would probably be good for you. No need to buy from that store, just has good pics and description.
FWIW I have a Das Keyboard w/ brown switches, I prefer them to red or blacks but that's down to personal preferance. A lot of people say Das Keyboard is the best keyboard since Model M. Most mechanical keyboards are similar in quality though, all very nice to type on.
However, if you like flat laptop style keyboards, they may not be for you... maybe try before you buy?
Have purchased the Leopold FC700r in granite. Along with some red key caps.
I would of got the 200 from that elitekeyboards site (mainly cause its black), but its shipping was $56 which is half as much again than the keyboard, plus its from America, and I'd be waiting ?? many weeks....
Also found various keycaps for mx cherry keys on flea bay.. If I'm feeling arty ill buy some.
Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Expert
Mouse: Steelseries Kana
Mousepad: Steelseries QCK
Headset: Roccat Kave 5.1 (they're ridiculously heavy for a headset tbh, but can't complain it was a birthday present lol).

My NEW 2nd Gaming / porta-rig courtesy of the good guys at AFTERSHOCK PC. The peripherals need sorta replacement, but happy so far. Taken in my living room from the couch next to my piano. Nirvana knows about it lol.
Left is an 16' Fan from Mistral.
Steelseries QcK MINI Black taken from my Desktop upstairs.
Plain cheap mouse from ProLink, but the mousewheel is not working anymore.
P.S., I won the laptop from a Giveaway from AFTERSHOCK after they won Singapore's Digital Life Gaming Laptop of 2012. I just got it on Monday then I decked it out with Upgrades which I forked out on my own.

GRAPHIC CARD: MSI R7850 Twin Frozr III 2GD5 OC edition
POWER SUPPLY: Seasonic X-SERIES 650W GOLD (80 PLUS GOLD)
HARD DISK: WD Caviar Blue 1TB SATA / 64MB Cache (WD10EZEX)
OPTICAL DRIVE:Samsung DVD Writer Super WriteMaster 24X SATA (SH-224)
SSD: Crucial M4 2.5" 128GB SSD
Total cost: 1250 SGD
Screens: An Acer 23inch for 199 SGD (loving it so far), the other two are old monitors from computers I had long ago, they still work pretty nicely.
I have some super old JBL speakers that still work great.
To the left is a 23 inch television for my console uses.
Peripherals:
Mouse: Steelseries Sensei
Keyboard: Razer Blackwiddow ultimate 2012
Mouse bungee: Roccat Apuri (Was a bit skeptical at first about this mouse bungee but so far its been amazing)
Mouse pad: Razer Goliathus control edition medium sized
Headset: Astro A40 non-pc edition
Microphone set up: Audio technica AT2020 condenser microphone XLR version attached to a Alesis USB 4 channel sound mixer
Console recording/streaming: Happauge HDPVR (1st version), Xbox 360 (will be getting a next gen console for Destiny the game!).
The mixer is for the audio of the console to be mixed in with my voice from the condenser mic so i am able to do live commentaries as i play without needing to sync the voice manually.
Console volume and communication: My Astro A40s and a Astro wireless 5.8 mix amp.
Planning to switch keyboard sometime in the end of the year. Probably a filco. Next year probably will get some lights into the desktop, add a SLI configuration and an 4th gen i7. See how that goes.
Cheers!

BAZINGA!!!!
Now I got to learn how to use it..... Is heavy too.
Whats the f5 key got a light for??????/ and how do you lock the windows key???
If my Living Room mode isn't enough for the Aftershock X11, Here's one mode I tried earlier this evening in my Bedroom.
The sound is powered by the Hartke KM60 Keyboard Amplifier which makes the X11 look like a complete midget. I replaced the PROLINK Mouse whose wheel already faulty with a Armageddon Aquila X-1 I bought earlier today. It's cooled by Dad's DIY Laptop Cooler which surprisingly is very effective on this laptop.
I went full round and full completion from Top to Bottom of Heart of the Swarm on Hard Difficulty all day today and the keyboard is cool to the touch on Full Load even though the Clevo W110ER is notorious for giving out almost too much heat for the laptop's own internal cooler to handle efficiently.

what are those race posters on your wall, if you dont mind me asking :P?
I assume u mean me???
I went looking for tech trees a few days ago, mainly for P as I have never really played them, except for WoL campaign. And i wanted to know whats a good to cripple their unit creation or whatever. like Zerg, take spawning pool, they be at a sever disadvantage.
Anyway, I found a tech tree that had race units and its strong/weak opponents.. Which I thought was pretty neat. so I went to find the other two. Found Z easy.
Terran..... zomg.... this took for ever.. There was only one link showing it, and it 404'd, or was 300 x 150 in size.. it took some random bing/google image searching to to find it... took them to work and printed them out at A3 then laminated them. is for WoL but thats ok..
here they are. I'll just leave normal links. unfortuantly I dont have a pro Photobucket account. so they are not as big as they should be.
