Hey guys,
I was wondering what internet requirements I need to be able to steam starcraft in a not great but not completely terrible quality. I have all the equipment and really would love to do it. I have a really great computer I am building when I get the parts and it should be able to run pretty much anything on Ultra (Will this affect the quality)
Here is my current Speed Test results
Pretty terrible and that is Optus for you.
Should I be able to stream at a good quality with this or no?
wow, when my internet isn't bad my internet is better than yours. Thanks for the ego boost, but I don't know, I don't stream but from just looks, no, no you can't stream

It'll be entirely capped by the internet speed if you set up OBS correctly. That upload speed is roughly what I was streaming on last year, here's a vod of the quality you can expect to manage featuring an early arze appearance: http://www.twitch.tv/amdpox/b/314438085?t=1h38m50s
It's a high enough bitrate for watchable 360p, maaaaaybe 480p.

:'( You will rue the day you got an ego boost from me...Maybe you won't but the mood is still the same!
I think with the internet you have you will need to downgrade you scale resolution and Max bitrate and bitrate values. Use the OBS estimator ( http://obsproject.com/estimator ) as a guide. Good luck streaming
was about to say, 'fkin europeans and their good internet'
that is...untill i saw ur post pox...wtf are they feeding your datalines? online internet digital steroids??! :O :O :O
@OP: itll come down to how you handle your bitrate and quality...set it too high and itll all come crashing down...FAST and HARD...set it right and you can have a decent stream...and by decent by my standards is tht u can afford short moments of pixelation and the rare lag

Hahaha, I'm pretty sure the speedtest server is on campus somewhere, so I'm connected to it via gigabit. My actual internet connection rarely goes above 10MB/s in practice.
You guys should all be glad you don't live in Spain or Kazakhstan :/
When I was in Kz, I downloaded League at around 0.4Kbps
... Edit: I didn't actually ever finish DLing, I gave up after I reached 70% and everything crashed and I had to restart
