TargA's road to NASL Season 3 Qualification
TeamSpeak TL SC2 Open #26 - October 2011
The TL Open is 1024 player, single elimination bracket, with BO1 all the way to Ro16. After making it through 7 tough rounds, he faced his NASL division rival and fellow European MorroW, in the Quarter Finals, defeating him 2-1. In the Semi-Finals, he came up against Golden, a well-known Korean Streamer and Reddit hero. With all the hours of ZvZ practice on the SEA Ladder to guide him, TargA went on to conquer Golden 2-1. In the Finals he faced Hack, a well-known Korean Terran from Team Startale, going down 3-0 in a tough series, and finishing 2nd in the tournament.
NASL Semi-Open - November 2011
TargA competed in the NASL Semi-Open Tournament, which consisted of 16 invited players and 16 qualified players from the open tournaments. After being knocked out first round, TargA went on an incredible run through the lower bracket, knocking out notable players such as ToD and Machine before eventually falling to CrazymoviNG 2-1, and finishing 4th, cementing his spot in Season 3.
NASL Season 3 Player Announcements
Over the past 7 days, NASL have been slowly releasing information regarding Season 3 to build interest and excitement. The hype for this season promises more Koreans, more casters, more action and more prizes. New to Season 3 is the introduction of a $150 prize pool for every match, creating a stronger incentive for all players to put in their best effort each week, and giving every player the opportunity to walk away with a prize. The structure for Season 3 will stay the same as previous seasons, with a total 45 players, 5 divisions, playing a round-robin style tournament across 9 weeks with the Playoffs and Grand Finals this year being held in Toronto, Canada.
Every day since launch, 5 players have been announced and placed into 1 of the 5 divisions, with each division looking tougher and tougher after each announcement. Today, NASL has announced the 7th round of players for the new season, with SEA hero and current Rank #1 World GM inFiTargA being placed in Division 5.

"Placed into Division 5 of NASL Season 3, “TargA” aka Kristoffer Marthinsen, is a Norwegian Zerg on Team inFinity. He started gaming with Diablo, before taking up Warcraft 3. When Wings of Liberty came out, TargA dominated on ladder and developed a fan-base in the SEA area. He has taken several SC2SEA(sic.) open wins, as well as taking 2nd place in the TeamSpeak TL Open #26."
Season 3 of NASL starts on April 11, with Division 5 games airing each week on Monday Mornings starting April 16 (SEA Time).
TBH i think Targa is very capable of doing well in this group. Puzzle and Polt will be super tough, but other then that i think he can take the others in a bo3.
