So as of lately there is alot of "banter" or calling outs happening in the chat box and i've decided to make a top 10 rankings of the best in all 3 races and just the top 10 out of all sea, this post is 100% my opinion take it or leave it, you can post your own opinions below long as there not stupid.
These are the zergs who i would rate are in the top 10 but in order from 1st - 10th would be :
Pig : Reason i put Pig as first even though he lost to Nxz for the premier spot he plays ALOT more then Nxz and has had more experience over SEAS and on a good day would win.
Nxz : Nxz Takes out 2nd place from his results from the latest WCS qualifier and then also beating pig in a bo5 series to get into premier!
Kingkong : I think we all know if kingkong practiced really hard and played the game every day he would be the best in sea by far as usuall but as he hasnt been practicing as much lately 3rd on this list sits just well.
Ender : Ender is a player who plays in ALOT of online tournaments and does very well, ranking #1 in the osc rankings he is a player forced to be reckoned with.
Alopex : Alopex is a player where if he plays on a good day he will beat pretty much everyone in sea but on his off days wont win against players he very well should, but still is a very strong zerg player.
Law : Law gets higher then Wally / Demilove because of his latest results in WCS and also taking out a very strong terran Azure 2x in the wcs qualifiers and also myself, but losing to myself in the lower bracket later on and coming 4th, very good accomplishment and also very well mannered.
Demilove : A very strong zerg but really does crack under pressure and you could see that in the WCS qualifier as he went into day 1 very strong but day 2 he just wasn't at his A game and lost to psiarc in the lowers.
Wally : Also a strong zerg but doesnt have a very good mindset to the game, as you can tell he says he quits and comes back ALOT in the chatbox, but overall a very good player when he is playing the game with a good mindset.
Mightykiwi : A zerg who is really off the radar atm, i havent seen much of Mightykiwi lately as he also didnt play in WCS qualifier, i think when Mightykiwi is practicing and playing ladder alot he can beat some of the better players in sea.
Soundwave : I've put Soundwave onto this list because even though you may think he is a diamond scrub or Masters now, He has so much potential to actually do well and is improving everyday and i think with him playing ladder as much as he does and keeps up his good mindset he will be a very strong zerg one day!
P.s Moonglade would be in here, but i think he is more of a caster now and not a player
These are the protoss players who i would rate are in the top 10 but in order from 1st - 10th would be :
Blysk : Blysk i would say is probably the best protoss in sea ATM, from the latest results of WCS qualifier getting through in first place to make challenger but just falling short of premier losing 0-3 to iaguz. I would say he has had just that bit more ladder practice time and focused on just playing and practicing more then the other protoss i have picked.
Frustration : Well.... to talk myself up or not haha, Well yeah from the latest WCS qualifier i came 3rd and did very well taking out Players like KingKong, Moonglade, Psiarc and alot of other strong opponents, on a good day i am defently a strong opponent to play and a force to be reckoned with.
Probe : A player who ladders alot but also complains about balance ALOT and i think with this mindset it is a let down on where his true skill could be, without the complaints and bad mindset probe could be the strongest protoss in sea, but with a bad mindset i will have to give him 3rd place.
Lobo : A player who doesn't really play in alot of SEA tournaments but when he does goes really far and deep in the tournament, Lobo proved that with playing well on the day can also take games of players like Kingkong and Azure.
Albion : A protoss that i have never heard of but played in WCS and did quite well for himself getting top 16 which isn't a bad feat, he is top 8 masters on the korean server and with this im giving him this position in the top 10.
Pezz : Pezz.. where can i start, he is a very very strong player when practicing every day and focusing just on sc2, he can beat players such as kingkong and the really top end zergs, but of lately he hasnt played any Starcraft 2 at all and i think from the WCS performance he has lost alot of his skill, so i will have to give him this position.
Soul : A very strange protoss that i think follows in the footsteps of myself but changes the way he does things, i have heard he likes to proxy gates and use DTS alot which gets him the wins he needs. He has beaten players like Ender and also just taken games of other strong players in sea.
Azz : Azz once upon a time was a very strong player at the start of Wings of Liberty, being one of the best in the world, Azz went on "retirement" and has came back a decent player getting into masters and also taking games of players like Wally and even myself.
Namakaye : I dont know to much about namakaye as i dont see much of his play, But i have noticed his results in the online tournaments and he doesn't do to bad, so i think Namakaye deserves a spot in this top 10.
schnitzel : Also another protoss i dont know to much about but notice his reults, i hear he loves his dts also and has won alot of games with them as they are a pretty good unit, with more practice schnitzel could move up this rankings on no time!
These are the Terran players who i would rate are in the top 10 but in order from 1st - 10th would be :
Iaguz : No doubt this gimly terran is #1 in the rankings of the sea terrans, he has been the best terran and one of the only terrans in the sea scene to actually produce amazing results and also go over seas, he has also played in WCS Season 1 Premier which isnt a small feat, i think this position for best terran in sea will be hard to get!
Psiarc : Psiarc has come out of no where, a Japanese terran player who came into our scene not to long ago and has demolished so many good players in the sea scene and has won many online tournaments, Psiarc is defently the 2nd strongest terran in the sea scene by far, his drops are so dam good that if you let him play his game you will not be winning.
Azure : Also a fairly new player to the SEA scene, Azure has came out in one of his first tournaments and won a Seacraft Melee, Beating alot of good players and showing that there is another good terran in the sea scene. Azure also had a amazing run in the WCS qualifiers coming 5/6 which is actually crazy, he took out players like alopex, Fenner, Lobo and just losing to law 1-2 in both his games.
Strike : Strike is a very random terran, on his good days he is fairly strong and can actually beat strong players in the scene, but on his medium sorta days he plays around the masters level terran, he has had some good upsets in some online tournaments but to get higher on this ranking i feel he needs to show some much better results!
Runamok : A terran player who practices off and on and is very 50/50, runamok is a player who wants to acheive the GM title and win some online tournaments and show of how good he can be, but before this he has to put in the hard yards and practice abit more just so he can acheive that.
Fullmetal : Fullmetal is a Diamond / masters player terran who has a decent mindset and can put his mind to just playing ladder and thrashing out games but that sometimes isnt the best, some days he will just go on tilt and he will be like that for awhile and once you get into that state its hard to get out of, so if Fullmetal can get a good mindset and play the amount of games needed he can improve alot!
Metalcore : A weird terran also a caster, Metalcore has learnt alot of things from being a caster and it has shown, metalcore has taken down people such as law in tournaments 2-0! His mech play can be quite strong and in a good game that is going his way, watch out cause he will crush you with his mech, i dont think metalcore plays to improve faster then these players but plays for fun and enjoyment, so im going to give him last in this list!
Looks good overall, I'll comment on the actual rankings you've proposed.
The zerg list looks good, gave reasoning on the players and I don't think many will disagree, that those players are in/have been in good form recently. However, perhaps add someone like Crimson into that list.
The protoss list is definitely missing Prozer, recently achieving KR Masters, he'll be someone to look out for in upcoming tournaments for sure, kind of sad about Pezz retirement though
The terran list looks a bit short, surprised to see no Pokemon in there, but I guess he isn't overly active in the tournament sense.
