I am looking to start up a 2v2 tournament on a regular basis through siliconsports.net and will be running one such tournament for the members of AtomicMPC soon (this will be a closed tournament).
Once the atomic 2v2 has been run I will look at hosting the siliconsports.net tournament regulalry from February.
Thanks for the replies - great to hear there may be some 2v2 tournies around the corner.
Re: the cheese - yes it is immensely frustrating for anyone trying to play a few casual games with mates - but if you are a dedicated 2v2 player you pretty much learn to scout and to counter - all kinds of cheese - as sunsetkid suggests.
As per 1v1 though, once you defeat the cheese - you have a massive economic advantage and should be able to push for the win.
There appears to be just as much cheese in 1v1 from what I have seen though.
