That's right ladies and gentlemen! from now on instead of a 1v1 tournament we will have a team league!
Two teams will compete every friday in a best of 7.
Casters wanted! matches will be at 10pm AEST on fridays. Don't expect particularly high level games, any level of casting experience welcome! FORMAT:
Your team does NOT have to be all in the same clan! (although that would be fine!)
Single elimination format, meaning if a team loses one match they are eliminated from the league until next season!
each set is to be played best of 7, maps will be predetermined. Players play maps in order of their league. ONE player from each team plays each map against ONE player of the opposing team if there are players of equal league the team may choose the order.
no player may appear more than once, except in the 7th match both teams can choose any player, immediately before the match, who has already played in that set.
Each team may only have a certain distribution of league amongst their players;
The 6 players selected for a set may not exceed 65 points total. Note: The player in the ace (7th) match counts again towards this total, as stated earlier the ace is not required to be chosen beforehand, but enough points must be left for at least one of the players to be the ace
Just a question : 10pm AEST is great for me (Singapore time), but I would be worried for AUS/NZ players. How long would be 4 to 7 games ?
i could see it taking 3 hours tops, maybe if all the games are epically long like 4,
hey it's a friday night! i'm sure they can handle it, they did with the 1v1 tournaments

What server do players have to be ranked on for the league points? How active do they have to be to ensure their league rank is an accurate skill rating?
us nerds dont go out to clubs do we?? friday 10pm sounds like a good time to me. gives you time to get a couple of drinks earlier if you wish lol. currently trying to sort out a team for this so i dont have to go random

I believe it'd be on SEA ladder. Regarding active player or not is up to Nerb, i think :P

I know a number of / who are only / on SEA so this question is actually pretty valid given that the /// are awarded different points. Even if they are honest and upfront about it, there is also a thin line between and . Maybe award both / the same number of points rather than separate?

SEA of course, and 30 games I was thinking. I'm not that stressed about smurfing because there isn't any reward for this thing, and smurfs can just be banned from it after the first time, basically i just want to test doing this and i expect it to fail in many ways :P
