Thanks to positive word of mouth from current subscribers, TGM continues to expand so its only natural we add more quality coaches to help provide an even higher quality level of service to our new members in terms of replay analysis, strategy discussion, replay packs and options in choosing their coach. Today we are proud to introduce xGkingjazbas & YaMaMa to our TGM coaching lineup! Their names and coaching rates have been added and can be found on SC2SEA's official coaching roster.
Download the jazbas + yamama mini replaypack over here where they take on players like qxc, tgun, RedArchon, Revenant and Strafe!
xGkingjazbas
Jazbas is someone who needs no introduction - One of the absolute top Zergs in SEA who finished #2 in the SEA blizzcon qualifiers and then went on to represent us in Blizzcon, doing even better, taking a game off Sen and eliminating sixjaxMajor and making "small potatoes" SEA proud. He enjoyed giving his first coaching lesson recently and contacted me about coaching. He plans to do it on a casual basis with the two loves of his life, music and starcraft 2 being his top priorities.
YaMaMa
rflan@perth
Although not such a familiar name yet, kice is a resident of Perth, loves fast cars and is better known on the ladders as YaMaMa or AsGCHoBo. He recently took down Jazbas 6-0 and nirvana 4-0 on the ladders, and finished last season in the top 16 with a 70% winrate. An impressive player you are sure to hear more about in the future.
What is really special about him though is he started out as a TGM subscriber himself, coached by the legendary OxygeN . He quickly hit and the rest was history. He brings to the new coaching team a very unique perspective, having gone through the path of a student himself he will be able to help the students learn in the fastest possible way. As kice sometimes has his "NA team monkey moments", he will be given "trial coach status" for now, and we look forward to accepting him as an official coach soon.
Other new TGM member features:
A secret channel where subscribers and coaches hang out for our members to get quality practice games.
Perks like high level replay analysis of their games (over 50+ done so far) for any member done as a complimentary service by the coaches / authors of TGM.
Right now Eldrid is giving free coaching exclusive to TGM members to gain some more experience for himself before he goes into coaching himself so its an extremely great opportunity to try out coaching for free that you cannot miss!
Our new coaches release exclusive ladder replays of their games to our members as well as give the "free hour" at a heavily discounted rate when signing up with our TGM coaching bundle.
My coaching style directly reflects the personal play preference of my student. I start of by either asking the player to show me their build or a replay and analyse their play. Based on the style of play I will try and improve their particular build order or suggest/show builds suited to their style. This way it actually compliments what they are already doing and keeps their positive perspective.
I am pretty pedantic and will pick on small mistakes which are commonly made. It is very important to get the fundamentals concrete because supply blocks, worker production, auto relaying workers back to minerals are the most important things of the game. I will not accept “I only did it this game” because it leaves the opportunity for you to do it in another game, what want to hear is that “I will never do this mistake again” I can promise massive gains to students who have the desire to learn and you could potentially rise to the top, I can show you the way but it is up to you to put in the solid practice and commit to achieve your goal by yourself.
Usually I tend to focus on various match ups per session and have a structured lesson plan based on assessed level of student’s capability, otherwise if you do not wish to follow a structured lesson plan we can focus on your requested requirements.
haha jaz was emoing about his loss streak against you too. I think he might have said that cause yamama sometimes has his naniwa moments which doesn't help. anyway, yamama is on the right track, he has been very helpful doing up replay analysis for members as well as writing a walkthrough BO of his TvP strategy and jaz is always super manner the moment he cools down so i have high hopes they will get along just fine in the end!
anyway you do know we have Azz in our lineup right? 4/5 of the players so far involved in SEA Fight prop bets were all TGM coaches lol - Roz Rev PiG Azz! Things have been quite heated before in our skype chat but it all turns out fine in the end haha.
It's all good in the hood :P I been in the same situation at times when I can't win either >.< it's frustrating!!! I.e other night in friendly with nirvana he took 4 games off me :O
Btw I must confess I'm on trial because playing too much on NA is poisonous to your game manner because most players encourage BM the biggest culprit being one of the most famous names.
I must not troll or say stupid stuffs anymore especially team monkey. Will still "gl sir"

thanks. Didn't know you speak English since you never replied to me T_T (my first pm to you was about having practice !)
Not sure if there's a feedback thread but I can recommend YaMaMa, my session with him was great and built a solid foundationf or the next one. Cheers mate!
I agree with Nirvana, I think that official coaches have to be good manner examples whether if it's on forum, ladder, tournament, coaching. They are responsible for a part of the image of the TGM and sc2sea, they must behave accordingly.
And it's not if it was so hard to keep his own nerves comparing to build enough skill to reach this level.
