PinoyStarCraft.com has hosted tournaments for its own people for 3 years and still counting. After a series of successful events for the local community, we have finally decided to connect with the rest of the SEA... we bring to you PSTL, PinoyStarCraft.com SEA Team League!
PSTL will be an open team league for any clan active in the SEA server. Registration is completely free and games are played through Blizzard's online service, the SEA Battle.net server.
League Format:
- There are two stages: the group stage followed by the knockout stage.
- In the group stage, teams compete within eight groups of four teams each.
- Each teams are drawn to separate groups.
- Each group plays a round-robin tournament, in which each team is scheduled for three matches against other teams in the same group.
- The top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stage.
- In case of a ties, the following will apply:
- Head-to-head result
- Win difference in head-to-head among teams (4-0 > 4-1 > 4-2 > 4-3)
- if any of the teams above remain level after applying the above criteria, tie-breaker matches will have to be played
- The knockout stage is a single-elimination tournament
- It begins with the Ro16 in which the winner of each group plays against the runner-up of another group.
- This is followed by the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, the third-place match (contested by the losing semi-finalists), and the final.
TLDR: FIFA World Cup format
Match Format:
- Before each match, the maps will be made known to the teams.
- In total these are five, as at maximum five sets are played.
- Since the current map pool consists of six maps in total, the maps are similar between most matches, however their order varies.
- The teams seed their players independent of each other onto the first four maps of the match.
- No person is allowed to play more than once in the first four maps.
- The teams may only seed a player on the fifth map in the event that a match reaches a 2-2 score.
- Any player may be seeded onto the fifth map.
TLDR: Shinhan Proleague Format

What DEl means is if you feel like quitting after 3 rounds into the league, don't worry, he is volunteering to take over and sponsor it from his own pocket!
Gonna post the registration thread, and specific details this coming weekend. I will have registrations open for 2 weeks. Expect this league to kick off on March 5.
Btw, updated the OP.
To the admins of this site, may I request for an frontpage/feature for this of some sort? Just to hype things up and bring awareness to the players. Thanks.
Is the map pool confirmed? I cant find ICCup Testbug and ICCup Pawn RE on SEA bnet. Would you kindly add them to the server so that we can practice in it? Thanks!
