Kim "MVPsC" Seung Chul will be switching from Starcraft 2 to League of Legends.
MVP's coach Choi Youn Sang said today that sC has ended his career as a professional Starcraft 2 player and left the team house to prepare on becoming a professional gamer in League of Legends.
According to coach Choi, sC has been thinking about switching to LoL as soon as the game came out and during practice he had more fun on the Fields of Justice. sC wanted a fresh start so he decided to give up on Starcraft 2 and make the switch to LoL.
As of now sC has reached around 2000 Elo on the Korean ladder. He seems to show talent as a ranged carry and in the middle lane. sC has been practicing LoL since before his return to the MVP team house.
Manager Choi stated "sC is good at Starcraft 2, but he has talent in League of Legends. He had more interest in LoL so I respect his decision" and added "after growing his skills at home, I await for him to become a professional LoL player, it is not impossible that he will return to Starcraft 2 but I wish to see his Starcraft 2 success transfer to League of Legends and do even better."
If SC becomes a professional LoL player it is not guarenteed that he will still be a part of MVP. Manager Choi said that sC has been a Starcraft 2 professional gamer with MVP, but "when he returns as a professional LoL gamer we can't realize the fact that he might not be a MVP player anymore."
sC has was part of fOu (later becoming FXO) as the team's ace and his debut was in the 2010 Sony Ericsson Starcraft 2 Open Season 3, runner up in 2011 LG Cinema3D Special League, LG Cinema3D GSL Season 3 round of 4, and has played famous matches and gathered a large fan base. Due to a collapsed lung, he has suffered a slump, but recently came back into Code S as a player for MVP in September 2011 and achieved round of 8 in the Sony Ericsson GSL Season 7 Code S.
This hurts my soul. sC's hyper aggressive play against losira... his amazing series against nestea, considered one of the best series in the games life.... has now joined LoL.
We've lost yet another brilliant player
