I was just wondering if there's any builds that would be useful and effective when playing against Terran. I can never seem to win against them and its really starting to get frustrating.. Lol. I'm only in Bronze league so I've still got loads to learn.

Constant probes, don't get supply blocked and spend your money.

sorry but in bronze builds aren't that good, you should just be focused on not getting supply blocked, spending your minerals and chronoboosting your stuff.
I would recommend getting about 3gateways and a robotics off 1 base and then expanding, try to keep your money low with this much production first.
4 gate is good and all, but you don't want to get to masters with it then realise that if you play a macro game you won't even beat a platinum player That's what happened to me and I had to start learning how to play all over again!

9 Pylon, use Chrono when Pylon finishes @Nexus
13 Gateway, keep Chronoing.
14 Gas
16 Pylon
Next 150 minerals get Cybernetics Core. Then save up 50 energy on your Nexus to use it on your Cybernetics Core and your Gateway.
Then spend your next 50 gas on a Stalker and Warp Gate tech.
That's how I open vs Terran at least. Then you can transition into a 1Gate FE or maybe 3gate Expand.

Instead of complaining about balance, try, try again.
Earlygame ZvZ is basically a knifefight with suicide bombers.
As faithHunter said above me, 1gate expand, it's safe against just about everything. Generally people get 1 zealot, one stalker, then expand. Most PvT losses actually occur in midgame (from my experience, at least) and the key to surviving the midgame is probes, pylons, and good micro all game long. If you're losing to specific builds, check out some PvT replays or Protoss streams and see how the pros handle it.
1gate expand isnt tt safe.. as a terran player, i tend to punish protoss who fast expand..
you c,the scenario i analysis is this:
1) if the protoss fast expand, 3rax(2tech,1reactor or 3tech) and push him at 6-7min...
2)if protoss 1base,i will also 3 rax but park my army below his ramp so he cant expand..
thus i feel tt protoss 3gate and move their army below their ramp is a better opening strate.. if the terran engages, a couple of nice ff to split the army and hit the mm hard.. if deres no agression, continue to expand...
I suggest you watch Dignitas Apollo's Protoss tutorials. He starts off from bronze and shows how to play as Protoss safely and solidly as you move up the ranks. I think 1 gate expanding in Bronze league is really stupid because no one really expands as fast as you as terran and you won't be able to hold off early pressure because you're still rather new. Although I would get the robo after I expand, I would get 3 gates like pezzaperry said and it's also ok to be slightly aggresive with the 3 gates as long as you have decent macro behind it.
GL, 4 gate, 3 gate stargate and DT rushing are nice builds too ^^
I played Protoss from Season 2 to Season 3 (from memory) and in that time I went from Bronze to Gold simply by going 3 gate robo into collosus in EVERY matchup.
Strategy isn't your biggest concern in Bronze. To be honest, neither is unit composition. The best thing for you to learn is how to get the most 'stuff' in the least time possible without sacrificing your economy.
As everyone above has said; Probes and Pylons are your friend, as well as constant warp-in and spending all your chrono-boost energy.
You'll be promoted in no time if you just practice that.
