Yes, Protoss is a good race to start with. General base of information for a start is, don't stop making Probes and Pylons, and leave mineral saturation at 16/24. Keep your money as low as possible (like playing whack-a-mole).
In terms of hotkeys, I recommend learning with The Core. They're ergonomically designed so that you don't tire out your hands as fast as if you were to use the normal hotkeys settings.
Generally:
1 / 2 - Army
3 / 4 - Spellcasters / Miscellaneous units
5 - Nexus
6 onwards - Gateways, Robo, Stargates, any building you wanna hotkey
If there's any more questions it's nice to ask, just drop by in chatbox and usually people will be there to answer your questions
ahk yeah I understand about if a saturated economy then expand
I see these people saying they learn with these hotkey setups , does that mean like going into your settings and adjusting to what the website says ? or is it installing a hot key file
also
any reason why some people say protoss is a noob race aswell haha

Nope, you download the file. If you Ctrl-F the TeamLiquid Thread and search for "File Location", it will tell you where to overwrite the file containing the hotkeys so you don't have to manually key in for everyone of them.

To be as unbiased as possible, it's the race that requires the least mechanics to properly macro. By macroing I would mean making workers, making army and attacking into another army. Protoss units are generally stronger than units of the same tier for other races, and can rip through your army without any micro. Other races on the other hand, need more micro to win fights more favourably and also need to do harder things to make their army (Terran has to constantly queue up units, Zerg has to constantly inject larvaes, while Protoss has Warp Gates that, once they are off cooldown, can warp in more units)
i see i see
so do you recommend just learning build orders?
It's a good way to start. Follow build orders, try to execute it the fastest and closest to the normal thing you can. You can look up for build orders by Googling, it's not that hard. However, this place is quite good for you to start.
Over there, there are many FAQs for Protoss, and they have also included general openings for the 3 races in the first spoiler. If you don't know what a 1 Gate FE is, try searching for it on Liquipedia or Google.
People always say "use this hotkey setup etc. etc." but my personal opinion is, use whatever feels comfortable. I don't feel comfortable reaching past 6 so i dont hotkey anything past there, to make up for not hotkeying things like maybe robo or forges, i go through and produce/upgrade when im chronoing. Also I dont like haveing my nexus on 5 like some do cause i like to use my thuimb for c and it feels uncomfortable so i have it on 1. just things like that that are up to YOU and YOU ONLY.
As for general gameplay stuff, first thing you should focus on is probes and pylons. dont worry too much about things like build orders, base saturation, micro, unit compositions, you will learn those as you get better and watch some pro games.

Clans* are a good place to start! Look up at the top left section of SC2SEA home page, you'll see House Clans there. Those are the clans that are currently active, check them out and see which one you like and then contact the clan leader!
Sorry though, at the moment not free to show you a couple of things. Maybe you would like to elaborate what you mean by a couple of things?
Hello! Welcome to Starcraft! There are a few sites which might help you get a better understanding of the game.
Day9 in a Starcraft celebrity of sorts. He does YouTube videos which run through build orders and stuff. Generally he tries to make you a better gamer. I would definitely recommend this video:
(Day9 daily #252) which teaches you about the basic mechanics of the game. You should also check out his Newbie Tuesday series on his channel. His videos are kind of long though but they are very informative!
Reddit.com/r/starcraft and reddit.com/r/allthingsprotoss are also good places to look through.
I kinda get the jist of the whole whalecum thing bahahah; I have actually watched a lot of the day 9 dailys and they are pretty informative ; the guy has a lot to say
And yeah I will check out the In house clans; as I come from an esports backround in competing in Counter strike source and cod4 at high levels so yeah I'm willing to dedicate myself to learning sc2 thouroughly
