The sc2sea GPD is a 64 player, single elimination tournament.
It will be conducted every 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.
If there is Masters Cup on that particular Sunday, the tournament will be postponed by a week.

The winner of each GPD open is awarded with one hour of professional coaching from a coach in this thread (link)

RULES AND REGULATIONS
Tournament Eligibility
Players must have their own SEA account; playing on another's account is not allowed.
You must be , or on any of the 4 servers (SEA, NA, KR or EU).
You should not be and above in this season (2014 Season 2) and/or had been in the last (2014 Season 1) on ANY server.
If you have achieved on any server in HOTS, you will not be allowed to join as well.
If you are joining this tournament for the first time, you are encouraged to post the links for your valid b.net sc2 profiles on the servers you play on in the signup thread.
If the Admins should request for it during the tournament, please cooperate.
It may be necessary for the Admins to do a quick verification especially when questions have been raised with regards to your league. Failure to do so or to cooperate, will be deem suspicious and you will be disqualified from the tournament.
Smurfing and Cheating will result in a ban from the GPD Opens.
Winners of consecutive GPD opens are respectfully asked to skip a week before joining the GPD Opens again.
Tournament Format
If we have more than 16 signups, the existing tournament format applies. i.e. BO1 till Round of 8; BO3 from Round of 8 to Semi-Finals. Choice between BO3 or BO5 for finals.
However, if we have 16 or less signups for a particular weekend, BO3 begins with Round of 16. Everything else remains unchanged.
GPD Cup
8 players will be invited to participate in the GPD Cup.
This will take place after 4 weeks of GPD Open tournaments.
Top 2 players for each Open will be invited.
Regular participants, players who have done well consistently despite not making it to the Semi-finals or other criteria as discussed by the Admins, may be considered to be invited as wildcards.
The decision made by the Admins will be final.
The Winner from the GPD Cup will be awarded...

I must admit that I feel ashamed that I haven't been a good admin in regards to GPD in the past, but looking at this team of new admins, I'm pretty sure this will be properly run!
Part 2 of the Updates (And you thought you have read it all)
