GAME DAY
The team matchs will be played on Thursdays. Starting time 2030Hrs AEST.
A weekly news post will introduce the incoming matchups as well as the dates.
If a team cannot make the default game time, they must contact the opposing team manager to organise another time (teams have until the following Wednesday to finalise their match)
We will try and be flexible with match times, talk to the other team managers and admins if you have issues.

You must be ready to play your first game at the scheduled time. Not showing up or being later than 15 minutes will result in your forfeit.
You will save replays in case of disputes.
Bad manner will not be tolerated. We make this competition on our free time so please, don't waste it. To make it simple, you bad manner, you're banned. Same comment for stream cheating.
You agree to be patient and considerate should for the duration of the event should any unforeseen difficulties arise, and acknowledge that the supervising administrator designated to your bracket has full authority over decisions pertaining to the game and may enforce the rules at his or her discrepancy.
Tournament administrators are free to join any game that they see fit. You are not to refuse entry to a caster or commentator and failure to do so may result in disqualification.
You agree that by entering this tournament that you will not publicly slader or reproach any of the staff or sponsors associated with this tournament on any public medium.
There are to be no spectators of any kind except the aforementioned administrators and the casters.
You may not include players based outside of Southeast Asia or Oceania in your team unless an admin grants special consideration.
You must own your own legal copies of StarCraft II for the SEA server.
Your squad can have any number of players, they must all be in either Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum however.
You are allowed 4 roster changes during the tournament. If you swap two players, that is ONE roster change. If you just drop or add a player, thats also ONE roster change.
For each round you must nominate your starting player by 24 hour before the start time.
Losing team picks the next player and map. Your starting player cannot be a Platinum player.
Only two platinum players may be used per match. (This resets each match and DOES NOT have to be the same platinum players each match).
If you enter two teams, obviously each team must list a squad. Each team has the 4 roster changes. Players are Allowed to swap between the teams, as long as each team has a roster change to use (Even if they have played previously for the other team.). Also if a side who enters more then one team struggles to field a lineup and has used all their changes, I may allow more changes.
Any mid tournament promotions will be ignored. All players will use their league rank as of Team Submission. I will be checking for anyone delibrately lowering their rank however.
Disconnection Rules
If a player disconnects before 2.00 game time, the game MUST be replayed.
If a player disconnects between 2.00 and 9.59 game time, the game can be replayed if the other player agrees.
If a player disconnects after 10.00 game time, the game will NOT be replayed and will be counted as a loss. Blame your internet connection, not the admins.
I have a question not listed/covered here
Post in the thread of PM FSBenAD and I'll answer it and post it here!
(Post format blatently stole from the marvelous Tier 5 admins of the last SEACL )
So we are close to finalizing all the details, Thursday night after all clans confirm participation and squads I will put up the groups/brackets and first week thread. Any clans who want to play have until Thursday, even if you arent on the list in the first post. I will ensure that everyone can play
At this stage I am still open to small tweaks. So suggest any here. Also I need you guys to think about two things
Start time
Since it is an all kill, a 2100Hrs AEST might be too late as a standard start time for any people in NZ and as these can go a few hours it might be really late for a lot of people by the end. I am open to starting at 2000Hrs AEST instead as standard, or even meet half way at 2030Hrs AEST. What does everyone think? Again I am allowing teams to reschedule if needed as long as I have notice and its played before the following Wednesady night.
Map Pool
Whilst I am happy with the 7 maps so far, DrGoose brings up a good point that in a best of 9, it might be good to atleast have 9 maps. Anyone got any good suggestions? I am considering throwing a non ladder map in there, maybe ESV Muspelheim (in the GSTL atm), with ESV Frigid Pass, ESV Vicious and ESV Sanshorn Mist all used in the ESV TV Korean Weekly. (All on SEA). Thoughts?
I think throwing in some of those ESV maps would be a fantastic idea. Good for players and casters alike, to have fun and provide for more variety. I would personally go for 2000Hrs AEST as a bo9 can go quite late into the night.

I'll vote for 2030Hrs AEST start time only because my daughter's bed time is ~2000hrs and voting for right then would be cutting it fine more Thursdays then not.
EDIT: @Dele: Not when I'm the manager mate

I vote for just using the WCS map pool
WCS Cloud Kingdom LE
WCS Daybreak LE
WCS Ohana LE
WCS Antiga Shipyard
WCS Entombed Valley
WCS Shakuras Plateau WCS Tal'Darim Altar LE (Booooo TDA)
We have 2 players who can't get there til 2030 AEST so I'll put in a vote for that too.
^^WCS maps still only gives up 6 maps (or 7 if you use TDA ) and I agree that at least 9 are needed. I have no opinion on which maps though, and have no idea about the ESV maps, but having new maps is always interesting!
Ok most teams have the squads in... I might split the Fusion Slug team though if team night cant make it...
I'll be checking ranks of all players over the next few days
As this is a short tournament, I will ignore all in season promotions, so that teams dont get stuck with all their active golds getting to plat and not being able to play. (or losing all their plats to diamond).
However I want all promotions reported so I can keep the first post up to date of squads and so that other captains can quickly check which players are were platinum for the purpose of the 2 platinums only rule
Asrathiel kindly verified my squads leagues.
I am currently doing it for the other teams and once that is complete ranks will be locked in place for the season
Ive verified probably 75% of the player ranks so far, adjusted only a couple (i think 3), so make sure you double check your squad lists in the first post.
