Agreed. Nirvana and crew pay for this website, ventrilo and have put in countless weeks into making SC2SEA what it is. SC2SEA is also made out of many generous donors who provide the cash, time and energy to run our various tournaments. I believe we run over 5 tournaments a week and cover many other events like GSL, TCL and various other international events.
As always, eSports is passion-based and passion-run. If you don't have passion for this, its better that you find something else ^^

Not sure if that was due to my question. But in case I came off as uninterested in anything but money, I would apply for it if I had the time, as I do have the passion. Unfortunately I'm in need of paid work at the moment and as I'm already involved in some volunteer work elsewhere, I don't have the time to commit to more.
It helps for the tournament organizers to have a good sense of communication with people as well as tolerance. As tournament organizers, we help to bring the community together with awesome tournaments, so being able to be in the scene helps tremendously.
That being said, good luck to all the applicants. =D

That's cool bro ^^. It was slighty directed at you but mainly to the general readership. I myself have a very hard time balancing SC2 and work so its understandable =)
The application period has ended for now. For those who have missed it, please wait for our new phase of recruitment (probably in 3 months time). We have received a large number of applicants and i would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to apply for the positions. Because of the limited positions we have we couldn't accept the majority or applicants and we just had to pick whom we thoguht were the most suitable at this point of time.
If selected, you will be notified over this weekend by PMs/MSN so check in regularly and if you don't get contacted, thats not the end, it just means you weren't chosen for this recruitment phase at this point of time and your name may still be under consideration for future roles we have.
We hope you members dont stop contributing and helping the community grow, whether or not in an official staff capacity - it should be something you enjoy to do on own your own terms. It also makes it really easy for us to make picks in the next phase or even auto invite you to staff before that if you have already demonstrated your good qualities over the forums.
e.g DoX already had been providing top notch coverage and forum postings and we were actually already about to auto invite him way before i put up the article/coverage writer application so when he sent in his application it was an instant yes.
