We draw closer and closer to the one year anniversary of our beloved game. Celebration is due! Check out this fantastic video made by Australian SC enthusiast Laxx in the spoiler below!
It brings a tear to my eye. A manly, manly, nerd tear. Here's to many more years!
2. NASL Finals
After a somewhat rocky start, we find ourselves at the conclusion of the first season of the North American Star League. And what a conclusion!
Fifty thousand dollar first place prize? Check.
Some of the best players from around the globe? Check.
Smoking hot babes ("Excellent!")? Check.
But most importantly, kickass games of Starcraft II? You better believe it.
Don't miss out on the nail biting PvT finals between two time GSL champion, self proclaimed "Obamatoss", and just all around general badass, oGsMC and open-bracket winner, the relatively unknown (for now!) TSL_PuMa.
VODs from the event can be found, as always, at http://nasl.tv
Now all that's left to do is wait for Season Two! And with promises of bigger and better, well, pretty much everything, how can you not be excited?!
3. Patch 1.3.5 Announced!
New icon for blue flame upgrade helions? Hell. Yes.
In all seriousness, this just seems like a pretty minor tweaking patch to coincide with the start of season three.
Please, please, please fix this "Input Limit Reached" thing ><
After playing on what's essentially a ghost server since launch, Latin American Starcraft players around the world (actually just in Latin America) are rejoicing after news of a "linking" with the NA server. Hopefully this helps ease the pain of ridiculous waiting times for ladder matches for our South American friends.
The Taiwan server is also being "linked" with the Korean server, as well as Russia with EU. Whether or not Taiwanese and Russian fans are rejoicing, I cannot tell you. My grasp on the Russian language isn't awfully extensive.
This news probably isn't going to affect those playing on SEA unless you play on NA servers too. If so, you can look forward to playing with Brazillian gamers. And we all know what they're like. (Kidding, love those guys )

Great write up, may I just say game 1 of Polt Vs Bomber was one of the best matches I've ever seen out of a GSL, so go check it out, you can always check out the first match from GOMtv of every set.
One of the things changed = "Several performance and memory improvements have been made."
This gives me hope that the input limit reached thing might be fixed. Either way, performance and memory improvements way more important than icon changing! Get happy people.
really hate the input limit bug. i dont know much about it so i could be wrong when i say it but i dont understand how such a seemingly simple bug can still not be fixed.
