Seriously, how many of you will be interested in a "No girlfriend on Valentine's Day, Play Starcraft2 with PRO players" special event?

Here is the mail sent to Husky, HD, Day9 and several other famous players and commentators.

This idea is inspired by many people on Teamliquid Forum offering free coaching sessions to others which not only helps new players improving skills and also shows a very good community spirit. So me and a friend of mine have designed an online session system which was supposed to help experts setup their online teaching service, but I would think it will work perfectly in holding the event.

The system in a nutshell is for an expert with any kind of expertise, in this case, it is you or any other really good SC2 players. They can simply create a service like this demo (http://ex.gs/4mVG5B) and get a short link which they could use to promote on any social networks. Once a interested customer checkout the service page, this customer can book a session with the expert directly. The system will handle the time schedule, notification and everything else including receive the booking fee for the expert. I think usually a expert will set a price for their service, like any SC2 player could easily use this system to make money with a time based charge, but I guess we should not set a price just for free SC2 coaching.

So, what I am thinking is that we could have HD, Husky, Day9 or even pro gamers like TLO, White-Ra (my two favorite players) to donate say half an hour of their time on Valentine's Day. They can setup a service page, publish the link and let all the SC2 fans to book a session. It could be some kind of reward as the experts(star players like you) have the right to approve anyone they want or simply the first one to book. I guess this could be something really awesome to see.

But no reply up till now :-( I guess I am crazy about this kind of idea, right?

Wont happen, i doubt they will contact you back since they are e-famous and get a lot of spam from everyone, etc.

They get requests a ton of the time and the logistics are close to impossible. Getting all those names and with 1 day left (vday is tmr).

Love the spirit and initiation but they will just ignore you so prepare for that and maybe put ur skills to good use by organising something more realistic like a SEA event where you could contact the players and they will be keen to coach which would give them exposure as well, like alot of the TA guys who are coaching.

players like whitera are already so insanely established that then could command 100usd/hr rates already easilly
