This week we have the Qualifying stage for the Pathfinder Team League Season 1, starting tonight followed by two more different qualifiers over the weekend. These qualifiers will determine the three teams competing in the regular season along side already invited teams MyInsanity, ROOT Gaming and Exile 5.
The maps for this week of PFTL will be
1. Habitation Station
2. Yeonsu
3. Polar Night
4. Frost
Ace. Heavy Rain
The first qualifier of the weekend is the Oceanic and South East Asian qualifier and will be casted by Insano and Malice.
SYF Gaming - eCKo eSports
The first game of the qualifier is between SYF Gaming and eCKo eSports, these two teams have competed against each other in multiple team leagues with SYF Gaming have a 2-0 record against them, recently at a Melbourne LAN we did see the ecko.Probe placing second.
1. TtSYF.Phoenix - ecko.RivaL
2. TtSYF.Hitman - ecko.Schnitzel
3. TtSYF.Fighto - ecko.Chobosniper
4. TtSYF.DemiLove - ecko.Probe
Ace. TtSYF.Hitman - ecko.Probe
Silicon Sports are one of the favourites alongside SYF to take out this qualifier after showing some strong performances in the ESL Team Cup Oceania. AxiS on the other hand are a inexperienced team but are capable of a few upsets especially with previous Seraphic Nexus member Wally and the upcoming Terran SalvatioN.
1. Surge - AxS.Chu
2. SLCN.Petrify - AxS.Wally
3. SLCN.Kez - AxS.SalvatioN
4. SLCN.Suzy - AxS.SouL
Ace. Surge - AxS.SalvatioN
SYF Gaming - Silicon Sports
The two favoured teams fight each other off in the grand final after having semi finals scares by both going to ace matches. Coming into the grand final a result would be nearly impossible to predict but surprisingly the final was one sided.
1. TtSYF.Fighto - SLCN.Arrival
2. TtSYF.Hitman - SLCN.Petrify
3. Fenner - SLCN.Kez
4. TtSYF.DemiLove - Surge
Ace. ? - ?
SYF Gaming wins 3-0.
The Second qualifier is the Americas qualifier featuring Deimos eSports, IvD Gaming, No Dice Gaming and Complexity.
Complexity - No Dice Gaming
Complexity are the veteran team who are probably favoured to beat NDG especially with their new Canadian pick ups DrunkenBoi and KoMa. NDG cannot be under rated though, as a new team in the scene having a strong protoss line up could impress.
1. coL.qxc - NDG.Darkness
2. coL.KoMa - NDG.Kellerman
3. coL.Midday - NDG.AkaRi
4. coL.Drunkenboi - NDG.Ghost
Ace. ? - ?
IvD Gaming - Deimos eSports
These two teams are competing twice on the same night, first they compete in the DETL regular season match and then directly after compete in the PFTL qualifiers. Being one of the best match ups in all the qualifiers its hard to pick a winner.
1. IvD.Apocalypse - Deimos.Bails
2. IvD.Phog - Deimos.FlatLine
3. IvD.ZergZingZing - Deimos.EliGE
4. IvD.puCK - Deimos.DeeMo
Ace. IvD.Apocalypse - Deimos.Bails
In the semi final No Dice Gaming progressed with a free win while IvD had the opposite, being pushed by Deimos into a Ace match the player Apocalypse managed to get revenge over Bails and take his team into the qualifier final.
1. IvD.Apocalypse - NDG.Ghost
2. IvD.Phog - NDG.Kellerman
3. IvD.ZergZingZing - NDG.AkaRi
4. IvD.puCk - NDG.Darkness

ESC Icybox - MgZ
MgZ being the Americas part of this qualifier come into this qualifier as the underdog since they're roster consisting of many strong Koreans are quite underestimated . ESC on the other hand are one of the favourites to take out this qualifier and contend for the regular season especially after Arthur's impressive WCS AM group.
1. ESC.goOdy - MgZ.Noblesse
2. ESC.ShoWTimE - MgZ.Galaxy
3. ESC.Grave - MgZ.Snakehips
4. ESC.Arthur - MgZ.Hexia
Ace. ESC.ShoWTimE - MgZ.Hexia
Alien Invasion - Vega Squadron
Arguably the best match up of all three qualifiers after Vega having a very solid ESL team league and Alien Invasion having one of the strongest yet under appreciated European rosters.
1. Ai.Patience - Vega.Primelot
2. Ai.Strelok - Vega.Romson
3. Ai.Golden - Vega.Firecake
4. Ai.Revenge - Vega.Revolver
Ace. ? - ?
Alien Invasion - ESC IcyBox
Unsurprisingly ESC and Ai face each other in the final of the EU/NA Qualifier, both teams have extremely strong european rosters that are buffered by a few Korean players. Lately we have seen ESC players Arthur and ShoWTimE produce great results in WCS and we've seen Patience and Revenge compete at IEM Cologne. After the first two qualifiers ended in a 3-0 victory to SYF and IvD we were hoping for something a little closer.
1. Ai.Patience - ESC.GoOdy
2. Ai.Krr iLithuania - ESC.ShoWTimE
3. Ai.Golden - ESC.Grave
4. Ai.Revenge - ESC.Arthur
Ace. Ai.Patience - ESC.ShoWTimE
