I do not want to keep double posting so just going to respond here.
Hello Everyone,
Sorry about the poor introduction, lets try this again. Hi my name is Chris Moore aka UniKage. I am currently in a admin role in the Australian Esports League - AEL organisation.
AEL plans to hold esports events and online tournaments in Australia. AEL also wants to cover esports news in regards to events and games.
To achieve this goal and to foster the growing scene of esports in Australia AEL events will only be open to people from Australia or current residents.
To drum up more interest from and to give back to the community by spotlighting players and casters AEL will be hosting some exhibition matches for Starcraft 2:Heart of the Swarm and League of Legends.
All the games will be played online and all the games will be casted. The casters will range from experienced to amateur, this way we hope to foster some of the current casters already around but also improve the up and coming casters that are looking to break out onto the scene.
So far for SC2 we are looking for Master, Grandmaster and Professional players for the exhibition matches. At this current point in time the matches will all be 1v1, a best of three and using the World Championship Series Korea map pool. We are looking at producing the content weekly at first and then adding more in once we start going.
We have received some great feedback from the community requesting AEL host some clan wars. This is a great idea and one that AEL will be looking more into in the coming weeks.
Even the smallest donations help keep sc2sea running! All donations go towards helping our site run including our monthly server hosting fees and sc2sea sponsored community tournaments we host. Find out more here.
