Team lineup for the coming week must be submitted by Wednesday at the latest. PM me the following information: Team name, Battlenet Name and ID. Race and which game they will be playing in. Please also indicate which of them will be your ace.
It will be the Team Manager's reponsibilty to inform his players of his opponent and get them to play their games. Ideally you should have played sometime during the week and only be playing on the default Sunday time as a last resort. Clans don't have to play all the matches at the same time, they can just play whenever both are free.
The participating Clans will be playing one another once a week.
The default matchday is Sunday. So in the event you have trouble fixing a scheduled time with your opponent, sunday will be the deadline to play. If the opponenent is not there and you are, and theres no available replacement from the opponents team manager, its a walkover in your favour, as simple as that.
The lineups will be released on Thursday, and the players are given the flexibility to play anytime from then till Sunday. Players are required to simply add their opponent as the character codes are all given here, and arrange the match by themselves. Managers are to help facilitate this and get them playing if they need pushing. As mentioned before, if you can't agree on a time Sunday will be the day to play.
Please let tournament admins know as soon as possible when you have worked out a time with you opponent to play. This is to help us get as many games as possible casted. The default time to play will be Sunday 8pm Sydney time.
Match results and replays are to be sent to Jarrad@sc2sea.com as soon as possible. Deadline will be by 6am Monday morning.
The clan wars will consist of four best of threes and an Ace match if required in which the top player from either side will face off to decide a winner.
Win – 3 ladder points Loss – 0 ladder points Draw – 1 ladder point Bonus Point – Winning 4-0 Penalty – Minus 1 ladder point
In the rare event of a tie in the final league standing, we shall next look at win/loss ratio (your team score), then by game for/against (individual game scores), then by ace match victories.
No cheating in any way of the following but not limited to. Using 3rd party programs to aid in any form of way, receiving messages from players while in game, listening to stream while playing or sharing an account with any other player.
Players must set their status to Busy while ingame.
Players may not change race in between games. Random players and race pickers are welcome but must be declared by team manager when submitting their lineup.
No abusive or spamming chat behaviour of any kind will be tolerated.
Any actions deemed bad manner by the admins will not be tolerated. We understand this is a prize less tournament but the whole idea behind this is to work on the community. Bad manner is not something we want to have present there.
Its the Team Managers responsibility to make sure their members are organized and ready to play. Informing them that they are playing and to coordinate with Tournament Admins.
Account sharing is not allowed, players must use their own account.
Games will be played on SEA server unless the server itself is showing signs on instability.
Teams
No less than 4 players to a team
Changes to the roster may be made, but if they are not made by the MONDAY prior to the next round, that player cannot participate in the upcoming round.
Team lineup for the coming week must be submitted by Wednesday at the latest. Must include the following information: Team name, Battlenet Name and ID. Race and which game they will be playing in. Please also indicate which of them will be your ace.
Streaming & Shoutcasts
Sc2sea will arrange the casting and clans are not to run their own stream other than the main, we dont want split viewership. We would like to consolidate viewers and have unbiased casting so that healthy and varied conversation can take place whilst the games are being watched.
Maps:
Map pool will be posted a week before the event to ensure teams have time to practice on the maps.
Maps, or positions on the list are not changeable on game day.
It is the players responsibility to check the map pool and report any issues.
Disconnects
Games will be replayed, unless a team disputes this. In this scenario the tournament admin will make a decision on whether a clear winner can be seen from the current state of the game or not.
Coverage and Observers:
Observer slots will be reserved for team manager, Streamers and Tournament Admins. Please if you are asked to leave by an admin do so in order for use to keep the event running smoothly.
Complaints
Complaints must be submitted promptly to an admin of the event and a copy sent to your team manager, accompanied by a replay and detailed description of the problem. Note that this should be done even if the problem was settled by an admin at the time just to keep everything on record. Complaints about games older than the previous round will be ignored.
We are also on the look out for more clans to participate so please if you know of a clan that we are missing that youd like to see feel free to PM me with their info or get them to contact me. Guideline to signing up can be found here.
Rough draft of rules any worries or problems let me know. jarrad@sc2sea.com
