So yeah some of you already know and the rest of you probably saw this happening at least 4 times now but i am making an official statement now.
So Ladies and Gents of the sc2sea.com scene Dominion Gaming TV ( DGTV ) will no longer be classed as a competitive clan of the scene. This is due to players leaving the game and others not really being as active as they were when they joined. Cause of this 3 or so member left the clan. Losing key active members of clan and not having the time i once had to rebuild the clan or keep it from going down this path in the first place i have come to the conclusion that DGTV Will no longer be trying to compete with the other big 4.
What Now ?
DG will continue to exist but will no longer compete in leagues or clan wars. DGTV will be become a multi gaming clan to co exist along side the Dominion Gaming Youtube who will exist to push that brand forward. All competitive players who wished to remain competitive were asked to approach me and we would work out a clan that would best suit them. All who have approached me have said they would like to Call FaDe their new home or we have talked and decided that FaDe was their best option.I would like to Personally thanks PressureTested in helping me help these players find a new home. There are still a 1 or 2 people im going to talk to about finding a better clan then DG for them so id like to thanks the other Clan Leaders who have opened up their clan for any of the DG players looking elsewhere.
So i guess this is where i go into reflection mode.
Dominion Gaming TV became a thing back in 2013 not too long before HotS came out with a roster comprised of players no longer playing sc2 and former AxS players DGTV was focused on BSG. Over time as did the rest of the scene DGTV moved toward a GPD focus which it did for some time. In Clan wars we mostly lost but did win about 4/13 ish CWs. Even with the loses stacking up i was never prouder of my players. Every time i saw my players compete i got a thrill as if i were playing. With any achievement gained by the forces of dominion i grew happier. With every failure the rest of the clan were there to take the blow. We were family. I guess that is what DGTV turned into over these past few years, My family. In saying that it makes all this that much harder. This family has helped me a lot over the years with some tough times of mine and have helped forge who i am today. Wise words of advice from the elder players such as Narse and Exan. To players i could rely on for council in times of need. Before i keep blabbering on about DG and what it meant in a non cohesive way im going to stop myself. Just know that DG was everything to me, and that all of this sucks but for the sake of the players who wish to continue getting better at the game this option was only fair.
Thank you all for reading this long thread. Here is just a few thanks to those who have helped me along the way.
Thanks to Narse one of our original members who gave me so much insight and wisdom due to his own experiences in Esports when he was a pro Halo player
Thanks to Chadmann and Nemisis who have given me some guidance along the way in tough times for the clan.
