It seems as if Protoss has again gone stale.
vT is extremely stale to me, so boring to play out, so repetitive.
vZ is just retarted, they either steamroll you, or you roflstomp them convincingly.
vP doesn't make sense much, and when it does, it makes me sick.
Here's my WR for top 25 masters NA as last season;
vs - about %40
vs - about %75
vs - about %65
Yes this isn't very descriptive, but I couldn't be bothered getting into detail here.
After a somewhat boring 2 months of next to no progress with Protoss on ladder, although I did go from to , I decided to start developing my own cheesy builds and all-ins to spice the game up and make it as fast-paced and as fun as I like it.
(Some of you have obviously seen my retarted DT build that beat FlashDrake somehow)
But this felt..silly..
I couldn't cheese to ACL finals, or win any major tournaments with such a boring race (to me), so it dawned on me, it is.
I got to with in WoL, but after some (30) ladder games as Zerg recently, I feel as though the meta has changed to fit my playstyle more accordingly.
So, in short, expect less cheese from me, more tournament participation (I feel like i'd enjoy them with a fun race) and less DT bullshit.
Also, could anyone tell me if I can now play in the GPD and such? Due to race change, regular activity and being at highest on any server.
I got disqualified from GPD because i was rank 1 diamond on NA and masters last season so I doubt you'll be allowed to join GPD
You were playing as your main race, though. If Djvillian is allowed to play GPD as Random I don't see why SouL wouldn't be allowed to play GPD as Zerg. Djvillian was never officially promoted to Masters though, so maybe a loophole exists and that's why he's able to play. Unsure.

The rules around smurfing are always vague and difficult to define correctly. Tbh, anyone who wins a GPD is 99% a masters level player who just hasn't been promoted yet.
Good to see the change in attitude and changeover to the master race - cheesing is good, cheesing ALL the time is bad. Best of luck for you SouL, keep grinding those games i'm sure you'll be up to your P level in no time
Just because a player who is who has not achieved on any server, is good doesn't mean he should not be allowed to play in GPD, especially if he has been laddering. If we go by the feel that a player who is is just so good he should be or playing at and disqualify him from GPD, then we are adding subjectivity and bias into the picture. In the past, it is always the ones who are closest to being who end up tops in a GPD anyways and promotion is normally not too far away.
Plus, what about the players who we do not know much about who might also be playing close to levels but who have yet to achieve it? Then it makes the whole scene more complicated than it should be.
@Soul there is always wT, pX and Masters cup

Good to see you changing it up if you're bored of Protoss. I'm keen to see how you go with Zerg.
Personally I think whether or not you can play in GPD is up to you, but if I were you I would just stay away from them to avoid any unnecessary drama/problems. In any case don't go trying to play if you know that you're above Diamond level, play your best and try to get back into Masters as quick as possible.
Lingering in Diamond so that you can own up GPD would be scummy, remember they're done so everyone can have some fun and getting owned by someone who is way stronger isn't fun at all.
Good luck with your change, do you best and hit me up if you want some ZvT practice!
Thanks for the support guys, yes I guess I should stay away from GPD's to avoid possible drama. As well as clan wars, maybe if i'm stuck at Diamond for a while i'll permit myself to participate in clan wars as long as the other clan agrees.
I will contact you if I need any help in my weakest matchup Deekz and Chow
ProAnnn...I'm so sorry, but, Protoss is the easiest to play T_T
