KingkOng has shown time and time again that he is the most consistent tournament threat in our region. The only player who might be favoured against him is iaguz and even then its an extremely close match.
Petraeus is better than iaguz and PiG right now, not much else to say really.
PiG vs iaguz is something I go back and forth on, to be honest I’d say iaguz is better in the vZ matchup but PiG is just a little bit more solid in vT and vP for me. For now, I give PiG the advantage, by the smallest of margins.
mOOnGLaDe tier:
mOOnGLaDe
mOOnGLaDe came back to finish 4th in the WCS season 2 qualifier, unfortunately he missed the recent season 3 qualifier however I still rate him higher than those below him. With him being in Korea, commentating top tier games (forces you to pay a lot more attention, can learn a lot from it) I have no doubt he’s playing very well at the moment.
Protoss tier:
Blysk, Probe, MightyKiwi, Pezz
Blysk is closest to breaking through to the top then anyone else, for me he’s the most solid of the 4. Probe, I hesitantly rank 2nd in this group, partly from discussions from PiG, partly from results. He’s the player who when he’s on, he looks Light 2.0. Harsh tmings and good macro combined, making him a deadly tournament threat. However, on the other hand he doesn’t seem to have the consistent work ethic and isn’t always at his best but if he starts to really turn on his practice he has the potential to be the BestPinSEA. MightyKiwi is a consistent zerg player with very good zvz. Like a lot of the up and coming zergs he struggles with protoss timings sometimes but I think he definitely deserves his spot here. Pezz is a very solid player but for me he’s ever so slightly under these guys.
Zerg tier:
HuT, Crimson, NXZ, Wally, Frustration, fenner, Revenant, Petrify, Law
HuT showed at ACL he’s got the goods to deliver. The most experienced of any “up and coming” player and someone with a lot of skill. However, I need to see more of this before I can move him up to protoss tier. Crimson is a very good zerg from NZ. I think he’s quietly had some excellent results and I think he does have a lead on the rest of us in Zerg tier. I put myself here, I think of all the guys here I’ve shown the best results in the past. At the same time though I’ve finished below a lot of guys too. I think overall I would rank myself a little bit over the guys below me. Wally has gotten very good recently, his mindset has improved and he plays so much which allows him to continually improve. Right now I do think he has the edge over other zergs such as fenner and petrify.
Frustration has come back in style. He’s shown some strong timings in pvz allowing him to punish a lot of the zergs in the region. If he shows he’s not just a one trick pony and isn’t figured out soon he could find himself moving up to the top of zerg tier. Fenner is an odd player I do think he’s better than Petrify and Law but after his WCS performance, its hard to say if he is better than Revenant. I feel like he is maybe slightly better, and if you look at who he lost to in the tournmanet (myself and Alopex) its easier to justify it. Moving onto Revenant, I do think the Singaporean juggernaut deserves his spot here. I think he can move up once he gets a handle on the zvz matchup. Finally there is Petrify and Law. Petrify for me gets the edge because of experience but I feel like his mechanics are starting to fall off. If he was practicing as much as Wally, he could be a lot higher than he is now. Law needs some more experience before he can start to move higher up. He definitely has a lot of potential and it will be interesting to see how good he will get.
I don’t know where to place you tier:
THIS TIER IS PLAYERS THAT HAVE A PLACE ON THE LIST BUT I COULDN'T DECIDE EXACTLY WHERE THAT WAS, FOR VARIOUS REASONS. THIS DOESN'T MEAN THEY ARE WORSE THAN THE PLAYERS IN ZERG TIER.
Alopex, Lobo, Enderr, Rival
I don’t know where to put these guys. I haven’t seen (or played) against Alopex or Enderr enough. I need to see rival at a lan before I can make a judgment, he probably sits towards the bottom of zerg tier. Finally, Lobo for me is a one trick pony. He still gets the better of so many zergs where he shouldn’t. I would like to see a few more tournaments before Id finalize a placement. Again, probably at the bottom of zerg tier for me at least.

only thing i can disagree with is ender, I feel he should be rated higher, i do not track his offline results but i have been casting him in the seacraft weekly for some time now and he is consistantly finishing near to the top in ro4 or 8 minimum 99% of the time and dealing with some strong opponents. He can go head to head with top zergs like pig (not favoured but put on a dam good show) which is more than be said than some rated higher than him, This ofc is said in ignorance of any offline or online events of his i have not been tracking. Like probe he is a player who can player superbly or avg depending on the day
