I'm aLtMrFool.439 and I'm here to post part 2 of my road to becoming the best T in SEA! Ill be posting less from now on because if I post too much, It might get irritating for some people :P
As some (or very little) of you might already know, I'm a new addition to the aLt clan and I'm very excited to be part of them Hopefully finding a clan to call home after being clanless for nearly one season(2 month?) Time, I can find more motivation to improve myself in Starcraft II! A big Thank you to those in aLt who had a hand in approving of me joining and telling me that I have a latent talent( whether or not it exists is another thing ) in Starcraft II! I haven't met everyone and got to interact with everyone yet but I hope we get to meet/interact soon! Hopefully I'm not too much of an eye-sore to anyone!
I would mark this point, getting to join a good clan, as one of the milestones of my RTS career. Note that Starcraft II is my first ever RTS and I've currently played about 500 to 600 games of 1v1 in total! I'm sure the number will slowly skyrocket because finding such an awesome clan has always been my aim the moment I told myself I want to play Starcraft II at a competitive level! Realising this aim/dream will totally help to fuel my passion in this game
Though at this point, I'm still not very sure about what getting into a clan entails for me. I've never been in a clan ever since I've played Starcraft II and thus have zero experience in such matters! I do hope an amateur like me in the RTS scene can survive well
Well, some of you might have chanced upon me getting my virgin stream against ttpig on MC11 and I must say, it was a thrilling yet very stressful experience! I was very concerned about how the casters' would comment about me and how my virgin cast would do to my first impression by everyone! First game and third game were absolutely horrible by me and I hope to improve over the next few months to show everyone better games if I ever get casted again! First game was just me playing bad:P Third game, I was choking quite badly and got roflstomped by pig
I was actually so worried about my first impression by others that I went ahead to watch my VOD right after losing the set! I thought that I'd be flamed as an absolutely noob and have a ruined reputation in the SEA community but it turned out to be so much better! hopefully in the future I can show better games when I stop worrying so much about my image Thank you everyone to those who told me I did fine (especially since it was against pig) when I went to benji's stream right after the game! Helps a lot to me who is still an amateur to the scene!
Once again, a big thank you to aLt members and everyone who gave me any form of support and/or confidence in my own abilities! I will also put my very best in fulfilling any kind of expectations tagged on me ( I know nirvana has a high expectation of me? Because I've been asked by different individuals if I've recently won any COs and are quite surprised that I have not won any tournaments and have been invited to aLt. There is probably something extra or special you see in me that has given you the decision to invite me despite not having any good tournament standings. For that, I'm honoured! ) And not only his but expectations( if anyone else has any ) of me by any one! ( Including those of you out there who would love to get to play with non 1-base all-in / 1 base timing push terran in GM league as pointed out by pig )
Thank you for reading and share your thoughts with me if you have any! Do support me and I hope to show better games and standings in the near future!

omg when will that stop lol! more aLts have won COs after joining aLt (iaguz, OxygeN, jesse, yoon) etc the only person who won a CO and was recruited right after was Shortizz, and he asked us about joining way before he won the CO!
anyway grats MrFool, we all think you are a great addition and we hope this pushes your quest to become the #1 terran on SEA further
what clan were you in before? i always thought you were clanless all this while.

Ahh, I assumed that he meant he has only been playing for that long ^_^ But I can see why that could be confusing.

Didn't realise it would be your first time being casted in a tournament! Thought it would be a good match, as you're an up and coming player deserving of it, and was confirmed by being picked up by aLt afterwards. 2-1 Played well. Nice blogs, keep up the good work
Re: MrFool's road to becoming the best T in SEA part 2
What I meant was that, I only 'really' played this game this season! Which is season 4 and was clanless all the while! I was indeed clanless from release but then again, I wouldn't consider logging on to play up to 5 1v1s per week (max of 10-20 a month cause I kept giving excuses to myself to stop playing the stressful 1v1s!) logging off and spending the rest of my time in WOW, fallout 3 new vegas, League of Legends and yada yada 'really' playing starcraft 2
Now that I can go up to 300 1v1s a season (probably not A LOT for some people still :/ ), I am predominantly spending my time on this game of course except apart from NS. Thus I wrote it as such above, 2 months! Wasn't really interested in getting into a clan before that although maybe I had this secret desire to get into aLt ^_^!
Pig oh pig, so humble :P you've had much better tournament standings than me definitely! gosu is gosu, chobo is chobo
Thank you thank you eddie and crazerk certainly helps to pump my confidence

300 1v1s a season in NS.... is a pretty big sacrifice. I try to play 20 games when I'm not in camp on weekends and I don't have much time for much else.
Maybe we should start a friendly competition next year? Based on KR ladder ranking I guess. That'll inspire me to practice more (and more efficiently) haha. Wonder if SAF sponsors pro gamers?
Re: MrFool's road to becoming the best T in SEA part 2
I really liked the "Nervous about being casted bit". I've been sporadically inactive pretty much since release with random bouts of playing but not really a lot and i went to Arena after my computer had been broken for a while and had probably played 10 games in the 3-4 weeks leading up more looking forward to just meeting everyone and playing a few games and after losing to PiG 2-1 in the upper bracket i felt so discouraged. I went on a run in the lower beating 3 people and Marc (Frequency) came up and told me my next series was being cast by Unstable and co on FXOpenTV.......that was the most nervous i had been in as long i could remember hahahaha it was so funny, all i could think about the whole time while playing was "Are people watching laughing at me, am i doing something really wrong?? I bet i have 4 probes on gas." and stupid shit like that then 1st game i kept wondering why i was on 4 bases with like 8475687945769456 gateways and my army was so damn small and Unstable told me after the series that i built 123 probes......123 FRICKIN PROBES!!! Man i felt stupid rofl, the VODs still are not up yet i think but i really wanna watch them for the lols!! Reading about your experience really made me smile and i hope you continue to improve and write these blogs, i enjoyed it a lot man DO WORK
Re: MrFool's road to becoming the best T in SEA part 2
Pig joined after beating me in the semis of a CO though, so his CO performance would have been the eye opener (or one of them.) PiG was a sick pickup no matter how he was gotten anyway
