The journey is soon to be documented and presented to everyone. But I can say, it was tiring and filled with difficult obstacles. I really feel for the fray team that had to spend that first night in horrid conditions (the hostel manager where we were staying had a loud party till 2-3 am Friday night (aka Saturday Morning). Many of you would have noticed how tired some of the fray boys looked over the weekend.
Other than that, I had a great time. Borrowing my dad's van to make the Fray`Van aka the 'Swagon' aka the fraype bus. What adventures we had. The results started out mixed for the guys, iaguz, Ninja and HuT were upset not to make it out of groups - while Petraeus dominated his group with out dropping a single map.
The biggest story of the event was the iaguz vs Mafia bout and that did not disappoint. Game 1 was a solid play that iaguz had been hiding especially for Mafia. Where as game 2 was a very close match that came down to some solid mine hits on Mafia's ling/bane composition.
Other than that, NXZ - what a beast.. Even deth proved he still has what it takes coming through the open bracket and dominating the group stage to advance ahead of iaguz.
All in all, I don't think anyone could have predicted many of the results (except for KingkOng's dominance of the tournament) and I really look forward to the next ACL in Melbourne!!
Anyway, Photographer extraordinare fray`MiLes has produced some great photo's and content from the event.
