I remember I beat someone in that x5acad clan the other day and I got really excited, I thought it was a legit thing. Anyway, great detective skills lol

What people would he contact? x5 can't do anything about it really, and if JunO was determined enough to go through this process to insult x5, I doubt Azure speaking to him would evoke any response from him.
Bring on the drama, it's not a big conspiracy that will ruin anyone or any team, its just calling JunO out for being stupid

Contact x5 tell them it was juno. x5 contact team property - problem solved.
Here you go I just saved you days of drama and shitposting
I feel that, given that Azure has brought this to the attention of SC2SEA, I should provide a response here as a manager of Exile5.
We had been aware of this previously, and hadn't wanted any drama to arise out of it. From time to time, I think every professional organisation is going to be trolled.
Neither I, nor Team Exile5, harbour any ill will towards JunO. I feel as though we treated him well. There were times that he was in a difficult position in his personal life and we helped him on some of those occasions.
I think that, like most other orgs in eSports, we try to be above this stuff. Most people appreciate that we don't get paid anything for the amount of time and effort that we put into this stuff. It's about passion for eSports and, in this case, Starcraft 2.
Sure, it's a bit disappointing that there will be times when folks try to troll and create more drama than necessary, but all we at Exile5 can do is continue to play the game and try to help the scene grow.
I thank Azure for taking the time to look into this. We'd rather not have this turn into a witch-hunt for JunO, as we know he can bring a lot of game knowledge to Team Property. Hopefully he can set aside whatever grudge he seems to bear for us.
If anyone is aggrieved with us for any reason, I would hope that they would bring it to attention of myself or another x5 manager. We want our people to embody the best traits of sportsmanship, and need to know if our members ever fall short of that.
Thanks for taking the time to read this - let's just get back to helping SC2 in SEA grow, and have some fun playing the game.

Some context to this... there was a recent tweet to say that a 'x5acad' clan/team around and there was some 'mystery' about who would do such a thing and the intentions. So I see this as perhaps some members of our community attempting to decipher this puzzle.
Kudos to Azure for the effort in the detective work to attempt to discover who is behind it and perhaps their intent. As to how true and whatever the real intent is, I guess only the persons who know it all can share with us.
As for, is it drama? Depends on how the community deals and treats it. If we are mature and calm about it as much as possible with regards to this info instead of taking out pitchforks name calling and rioting etc, then I think the blog has been informative and even providing some thought on the matter.

I'd like to second Eugene's statement. I'm one of the folks who can be approached if anyone has a grievance with any of our members.
I've always enjoyed JunO's writing for the Weekly All-In and, apart from this kind of thing, I've generally found him an alright bloke.
I also like the Team Property guys a lot, and don't want to see their lives made more difficult as the result of some mostly harmless trolling, especially as they are in the process of rebranding and starting their drive to make the new branding well known.
I'd like to think Exile5 has a thicker skin than to let this kind of thing be worthy of drama
Live and let live. You can always just wreck us in the brackets

I'm just clarifying some of the things I've done, not really here to defend myself nor really want to. Defending yourself when you're clearly in the wrong is a pretty stupid thing to do, so I'll just explain what sparked the situation.
It all started off as an innocent prank, as some of you know there were complaints within some members of SC2SEA regarding the situation with x5 and how the organization was being ran. Not really within our reach to comment and I won't go into details with that. There were disagreements with past x5 members and present members that won't be named for their sake, but overall -- we just disagreed how things were done.
On top, x5 hasn't wronged me in any way on a personal level, it's mostly that one of their past members who left have been not in their appreciation and isolated from the rest of the team. Lack of team communications, support or pretty much anything else that forms in the category of "team and players" relationship. Players current and past backstabbing each other, a lot of their chat is leaked and the unhealthy teammate environment was the major remark to our circlejerk (and the free jersey stuff).
The x5acad stuff sparked when Wally made a clan on Korea after he left his league frustrated (again) and left his team under the impression that he was fracturing their reputation by playing so poorly. The whole academy clan was in a recent case after he left Frentic Array and was approached by x5, to be put in their academy. Don't really know how serious the offer was, but it insulted him a lot on a personal level considering most of x5's main team is unable to play at his level -- so the first clan was made on Korea, just for his own use.
The x5's management contacted Silicon directly rather than asking him to take down the clan, Wally got into some conflicts with the management and watching from afar that made me upset. Impersonation is wrong, but it was a prank without ill intents and was treated as if it had malicious goals. So the clan on NA was born under a different account of my friend from a different cirlcjerk chat where multiple members rotated in laddering it to maintain a high skill level. I'll be honest, that DID have malicious intents to bring down their team reputation, it was another circlejerk from the 2 chats, "x5 will accept anyone".
This will look like a pity defense, but in the recruitment process I ended up promising the majority of them help to improve. A promise I followed up with. They were bystanders and I wasn't going to lie to them. I didn't BM people on the account, it turned out to be another clan I manage.
The Runamok situation is on a far more personal level. What I'm doing is bullying, I'll just get that out of the way, it's 100% bullying. The whole GM situation with the constant circlejerk is just questioning his legitimacy. The majority of high level players in SC2SEA would agree that he's definitely not capable of competing in Korean GM level. When he slips his way into the league at the very last moment of HotS (where Natural, who's usually around 110 made it to rank 1 and I personally made it to rank 7 during the hiatus) and use it as a leverage to advertise his skill level, it's pretty much full of shit.
A lot of the other players' effort have been undermined, the players who actually put the time into getting better at this game, all their efforts and achievement suddenly looks illegitimate if it looks like Runamok is capable of getting there. While coaching someone Masters and below it shouldn't have much effect on, it insults a lot of our efforts. That alongside his frustrating attitude about improving or taking advice is the start of this circlejerk.
At the end, I'm in the wrong and I'd like to apologize to x5 if any of it felt insulted them. I'm clearly in the wrong and I'm willing to take full responsibilities for my action. If there's any further questions they'd like to ask I can put you on to my manager directly.
